How would we ever replace those 2 receptions per game?!?!?

Oh yeah, Wright and Douglas... who snap per snap, we're better/more efficient.

I know I have no say... and financials may come into play... but I'd keep Douglas over Sharpe. Neither would likely be active week to week, and would only dress due to injury... but in that scenario, as a 4th WR, I'd take Douglas' ability to get open and make plays over Sharpe's youth.

We may only carry 5 WRs, and Weems is making the roster for STs purposes. Last season we started the season with 6WR and 3 TE, then replaced AJ with Amaro to go 5/4 the rest of the way. The 6th WR spot really comes down to Sharpe v Douglas v McBride v Amaro v another 4th TE v Cunningham. Call me crazy, but I think it's between Douglas and Amaro.

No way. I'm not a big fan of Sharpe and was extremely unimpressed with his production last season with how much playing time he had, but I'd rather keep the 5th round, 2nd year guy over old Harry Douglas (who was never that good to begin with) just purely on any type of up side. Douglas does nothing for us on the field or off the field now that we signed an actual productive veteran.

We as fans were so let down with Sharpe's incredibly average play but we still gotta remember that the guy was a 5th round rookie last season and still playing on a cheap rookie contract. Again, Douglas does nothing for us and Id rather take my chances on Sharpe if Im picking between the two.

Douglas will stay over Sharpe -- he's a vet that can play any WR position and be relied upon to run the right route/stronger grasp of playbook

I wouldn't be shocked if Weems is cut

Davis
Decker
Matthews
Taylor
Douglas

Those will be the 5 WR imo

"I think this is the best WR core we've had since Bennett/Mason."

Decker would have been an all-star signing for this team years ago. We've improved to the point where this signing is a "cool" thing.

It does nothing but makes our team better.

Bennett, mason, mcarins, calico 😎

Good Point...>This is the best we've ever had (on Paper)
#1 Draft pick Corey Davis
Rishard Matthews
Eric Decker
Taywan Taylor
Tajae Sharpe
Harry Douglas
Delanie Walker
Jonnu Smith
DeMarco Murray

The craziest thing is that we actually have players that casual fans have heard of

Decker
Walker
Murray
Mariota
Davis
Brinkley

Exciting time to be a Titan fan. It's weird having actual expectations. We've been awful for ~10 years.

Douglass ability to get open 🤦🏽‍♂️ Only if its zone coverage can Douglas get open.

You keep telling yourself Sharpe is in any way better than Douglas... and I'm not trying to pimp Douglas up at all... he's only a lower depth chart type player. We're talking 6th WR here, if we carry 6 WRs.

Weems will make it based on STs, as he'll contribute on a variety of those units.

Details on Decker's deal are out...

1 year, $3.85M, with an additional $1.5M in incentives (no details on those yet). But if he reaches all incentives, he gets the full $5.35M, but that means he also contributed heavily and probably results in a playoff team.

Another notch/great deal on JRob's belt.

Nice deal and he can test the market next season (hopefully) after a very productive year. The rookie WRs (Davis & Taylor) will have a year under their belts as well at the point. Cool

the hype train is insane right now after this signing

people are talking like we're a shoo-in for the division title, which is ridiculous

i think we're a good team and if things go right for us we could win the division, but it's gonna be pretty tough.
