Except soy is awful for men in so many ways Laughing

I've heard that a lot, has it been proven though? Also I hate soy milk. If I drink an alternative to dairy it's almond milk. Super high in calcium and super low in calories.

its pretty sketchy science.

Soy like all plants has these compounds called isoflavonoids which have plant hormones in certain series of these isoflavonoids, and group of these isoflavonoids are high in plant estrogen compounds and anti-estrogen compounds.

So some people believe those plant hormones can effect our hormones. When reality is they have little to no effect on our hormones cause were mammals , you know not a plant lulz

Quote:
“Men shouldn’t worry about consuming a regular diet of soy,” advises Kovac. Just get plant proteins from a variety of beans (including soybeans), lentils, quinoa, nuts, and seeds — even if you keep an active lifestyle.

“There is no data showing that soy negatively effects muscle growth in men," says Marie Spano, MS, RD, a board-certified sports dietitian for the Atlanta Falcons. Spano refers to a recent clinical trial that found 22 grams per day of a soy-dairy protein supplement for three months did not alter testosterone in young men doing resistance training. Muscle strength and thickness increased similarly to the whey protein and placebo groups."

I see nothing wrong with soy.

Those who oppose it tend to believe in other goofy science like antioxidants, free radicals, herbal supplements (echinacea, ginko biloba, etc.), drinking 8 glasses of water a day and Vitamin C for colds.
All mythology.

Most people either can't tell fact from fiction or just don't bother.
Also, there's a lot of misinformation out there. Most of it can be linked to some advocacy group.

What people should really be concerned about is the government allowing people to be exposed to so much dihydrogen monoxide.
They use that stuff in the manufacture of yoga mats, to help spread insecticide and as a flame retardant.
I know because they found in the water pipes in my hometown when I was a kid.
It can be fatal if inhaled.
There's tons of it in the food you eat, particularly vegetables ..... even so-called organic ones.
People just have no idea what's going on.
Shocked

Hey! Pee-Wee Herman didn't touch little kids. He just jacked it at a movie theatre. Don't be besmirching his good name.

Pretty sure Pee Wee had a kiddie porn scandal a few years ago. I'd look that up but no chance I am putting that in my internet search history......

B, John Wick is AWESOME. Both Dance/concert scenes are legit epic. I can watch that kind of action and shooting all day.

Right. He bought old physique magazines from the 60s in bulk and considered them art. Apparently a couple had a few pages of possible teens.

Frankly, I'm tired of Pete dragging PWH's name through the mud. Thats the real crime here.

Both movies are fun. It's what I call popcorn movies. You just sit down for 2 hours, eat popcorn and have fun. Pure entertainment. I'm not looking to be moved by Keanu just want to be entertained.

The Equalizer was about the same. Completely unbelievable but action packed. 60 year old Denzel single handedly takes down the Russian mafia. lol

Those movies where one guy is just a one man army always get me. I don't know why. They are utter ridiculous. The girlfriends never understand though. lol

Yea I really enjoyed The Equalizer. Can't be mad at a movie when it's Denzel just murdering for 2 hours. That's why I loved Man on Fire, and even mildly enjoyed that disaster The Book of Eli.

When it was first started John Carroll Lynch was cast but since this got re-green lit they're unsure if he's still part of the project or not.
