"Thank you for your inquiry, Techbert Jr. I am incredibly excited by this draft. I improved my team in a few major ways. First of all, I added an impact player and leader at safety in Jamal Adams. In the second round, I managed to grab one of my favorite players in Forrest Lamp. Forrest will step in at RG and give us one of the NFL's best interior OLs with the Sitton-Whitehair-Lamp combo inside. We also added Antonio Garcia in the third round to be our LT of the future. We believe he's a good fit in our outside-zone rushing attack. For now, J.C. Tretter will hold down the fort at LT. He was a serviceable LT when Green Bay asked him to cover for Bakhtiari in the past.

I'm also very excited by our two other third round picks. Alvin Kamara will give us a dangerous pass-catcher out of the backfield, a HB of the future behind Murray, and a lethal returnman. Jordan Willis has the potential to be a disruptive pass rushing force off the edge, and I love his nonstop motor. Our 3-4 transformation is looking quite good at this stage.

Overall, I absolutely loved the draft I had. We addressed our biggest needs with value picks. We got some very talented players in the late rounds (Hodges, Kaaya, Price, and King). And I believe we've put enough talent around Jared Goff for him to thrive. He will finally be taking the field as our starter this year. He's got a talented OL in front of him, a talented running game behind him, and a lot of different skill-sets on his WR and TE corps.

As for the one who got away, it was definitely Jourdan Lewis. I was targeting him at the top of Round 4. I really struggled between choosing him and Antonio Garcia. I hoped he'd make it to our pick in Round 4. Unfortunately, he did not. The good news is that Howard Wilson and Desmond King did. I'm very high on both players. I believe King can contribute to this team as a FS and slot CB. I foresee Howard Wilson being a starting CB for us after Brandon Carr departs.

What sleepers excite me? Joshua Holsey, Blair Brown, and Ishmael Zamora all excite me greatly. I see Holsey and Brown both developing into starters for us down the line. I love their competitiveness, instincts, and athletic profiles. Zamora is a risky pick, but he's a very unique athleticism. If he develops like we hope, he has Josh Gordon-like potential. He just has to keep out of trouble and work hard."

Rumor is that the Gunslingers are in negotiations with recently released WR Jeremy Maclin.

Gunslingers are also talking to the Jets about WR Eric Decker. Stay tuned.

EDIT: I will be signing Eric Decker pending the announcement of his terms with Tennessee.

Second EDIT: Gunslingers also announce the release of DT Tyrunn Walker and place DT Nick Fairley on the NFI List. We are currently evaluating options at DT including bringing in DT Jared Odrick, DT Sen'Derrick Marks, DT Arthur Jones, DT Tyson Jackson, DT Vance Walker, and DT Sean Lissemore in for workouts.
