Looks like we are giving a lot of promotions/raises/contracts with Brandon Beane leaving and probably looking to poach everyone.
Quote: | The Carolina Panthers have made several adjustments within the scouting department.
"You are always looking to improve your scouting operation," general manager Dave Gettleman said. "We made some moves after taking a look at everything. I feel really good about our personnel group, both pro and college. We feel this strengthens us even further."
Mark Koncz is the new director of player personnel. He was previously the team's director of pro scouting, a position he held since 2000.
Jeff Morrow is the new director of college scouting. He was named the assistant director of college scouting last year.
Matt Allen is the new director of pro personnel. He was previously a pro scout.
Don Gregory is now a senior executive scout, working pro and college. He was previously the director of player personnel and also spent 10 years as the director of college scouting.
Jonathan Fields is now a pro scouting assistant. He was previously a college scouting assistant.
Eli Montague is now an area scout. He was previously a BLESTO scout. |

Damn, we didn't have a single post in June. Rough. Not that there's anything to talk about...
Anyway I'm getting the feeling that Michael Oher isn't coming back after he posted that pic of the concussion meds he's taking.
I think the preseason is only in four weeks. Weeeeeee! _________________

Oher is pretty much a goner at this point. I'm looking forward to seeing the new guys in action and some position battles such as Williams/Moton at RT, Boulware/Mayo at backup LB and who stands out at the WR position |

Voth said Williams will probably take RT easily. Gotta remember Moton is a late 2nd round pick from a small school. He'll need a year or so to learn. Would need to take a big leap to become a starter this year (or an injury to DW obv). _________________

I heard on WFNZ the fan that Cam is taking the receivers to the Under Armour facility in Baltimore before training camp. Good to hear that Cam is starting to be able to throw again and gel with the receivers! |

Yeah, that's great to hear. There were definitely some times last year where Cam and the receivers didn't seem to be on the same page. Hopefully they get some good work in and help get the offense back on track. |
