Problem is there are only 3 championship level teams and 2 of em play in the west.

If Durant leaves there will be 4.

But that's it. That's all it'll be until the Warriors split or Bron retires.

Maybe a young superstar will emerge? That's all we can really hope for right now unless the NBA finds a way to split up super teams.

Best case, the TWolves put it all together next year.

Other than that I don't see a team that can even challenge at all, MAYBE the Pels if AD and Boogie can gel and just command games.

Name the current #2 players on teams that are better than Gordon Hayward outside of Curry/Durant, Blake Griffin, and DeMarcus Cousins. There's not a single one you'll name that played better overall than Gordon Hayward this season.

Very Happy
Yeah, that's 3.

Hayward would be one of the 3 or 4 best #2 players in the NBA. He's a very good overall and efficient scorer, solid rebounder, can initiate offense, plays within his limits and within the offense, and is a very solid defensive player. If he's your 2nd best player, then you're off to a great start. Saying he's only a #3 on a great team in this league... Laughing Laughing Laughing
Wrong wrong wrong
I mean...what are you proving here? You said...

But but but....seminoles and Jrry assured me that Hayward is an elite scorer and would be the second best #2 guy in the league...
...and I said he'd be" one of the 3 or 4 best #2 players in the NBA" (not 2nd best) and is "a very good overall and efficient scorer" (not elite). I'm not exactly sure what you think you just proved, buddy.

How about this?

Please MVP voters, continue to snub lebron. Lebron playing with a edge is godly. I hope he never sniffs another MVP.

The west is also a joke. There are only 2 teams that exist in the nba.

Pretty much.

Worst season of NBA in my lifetime, and state of league is shameful.

All we can hope for is the Finals deliver.

Legit this playoffs might be the worst playoffs I've ever seen in any sport in my lifetime.

It's been heinous bad. Only one marginally competitive series and even that was only for 2 games, pretty much every game has been teams trading blowouts.

They need a third if they're to have any chance.

GSW beating Cleveland and Durant going to the East is literally the best thing the NBA would be able to hope for.
He'd just sign with Cleveland so he can be the piece that "brings them over the top" or whatever Durant said after he signed with Golden State.

I hope so too. Because this has no effect on LeBron's performance but hurts his legacy. Laughing

NFL playoffs weren't any better leading up to the Super Bowl.

Hayward should go to New Orleans. He'd be the perfect fit there. Boston is a bad spot for him.

Well the Pels might be able to add a decent FA this season.

I think the real question is if/where Carmelo is traded from the Knicks. His contract is bad, but maybe he can help a team with bringing another scorer in and probably wouldn't cost that many assets. Boston could probably easily give up the assets through their overseas assets and future draft picks.

The way you are trying to completely change everything jrry32 and I said into something this extreme is pathetic.
