I certainly hope Max Bullough is not on this team. Was a known roider in college and now busted as a pro. Dude was marginal at best even on the juice, so absolutely no reason to waste a roster spot on a guy who was chemically enhanced and will return smaller and slower, injury prone, and subject to a 10 game suspension. The Texans hypocrisy when it comes to roids vs. recreational drugs needs to stop.

Only carrying 6 Dlineman is a scary proposition especially with Watt being pushed too soon last year and Clowney essentially being an pass rush OLB freed of the need to drop into coverage. I'd drop Bullough's suspended spot for a DE. Since I don't know much about these UDFA's and street guys yet, I'd pencil in Dunn for now.

Additionally, only carrying 4 CBs is scary. Decoud better be a FS with that 4.62 speed, but given our lack of options, I suspect he gets a look at CB. FA signee Marcus Roberson got me excited for a few seconds as a "name", but he's another slow zone type with 4.61 speed and fits the mold as a guy who peaked in high school as he went undrafted out of Florida and has a rep for bringing a bad attitude and possible drug problems (rumors he pulled a Sam Montgomery and snuck women and party favors into team hotel before South Carolina game) as well as 3+ failed drug tests). For my money, I'll take a try-hard like tryout winner Bryce Jones over some BMOC type still living off being a big deal in high school. Regardless, if we line up a guy with 4.62 speed at corner we are idiots. Of course, having a 4.7 safety like Moore on the roster is an anachronism as well, but at least he doesn't have to go stride for stride vs. 4.4 WRs who instantly get audibled into go routes when half decent QBs see the mismatch.

You would have thought we would be an easy sell after all the money Bouye made emerging as a UDFA with us, we'd at least grab some priority FAs in the secondary but this seems like a bottom barrel group. Dee Virgin is a shrimp at 5' 9", but he did run a 4.47, but I'm so desperate for speed in this secondary, I guess I'll be rooting for him. Malik Smith is the only other guy that even rated as a top 100 prospect at his position but he's a SS w/4.58 speed so at bests presents an upgrade over Corey Moore.

Also will be rooting for someone to supplant Keith Mumphrey's position on this roster. It's not like Fuller, Miller, and Strong are good enough to ignore #5 WR as Fuller disappeared, Strong has never shown up (except 4 plays vs. Colts & Scottsdale jail), and Miller was raw and unreliable. Unlike dback, speed definitely seemed to be prioritized with WR signees as both Deante Gray (TCU) and Justin Hardee (Illinois) have run in the 4.3's.

Of course, let's not forget that Wendell Williams ran a friggin 4.19 at a regional combine. Thought he earned a spot last year over Mumphrey, but was a final cut last year before coming back on practice squad in November and active final two games.

if i remember correctly, we only carried 6 D-Linemen last season, and that might have not included Clowney who started at OLB

We are really thin at Linebacker which is the only reason I had bullough on the roster
