With this latest move, I noticed how much disparity exists now between the time zones in this league:

East Coast: 10
Pacific: 3
Europe: 3
Central: 2
Asia: 2
Mountain: 0

Not saying this is a bad thing but it's interesting. For the record - there hasn't been a Mountain team since the Hurricane Hurricanes left in Season 7 (although for the brief time the Legends were in New Mexico they were under Mountain, but they never played there before moving to Bikini Atoll). Of course this isn't radically surprising - only two of the 32 NFL teams play in this time zone (Arizona and Denver).

Breh I'll move to the mountain zone.

Sabo coming into my land acting a fool.

You'd have to move from Melbourne, then.

Melbourne has mountains

edit: i think..

*Looks out window*

Thats a confirmed no.

Eh depending on the makeup of my keepers I'd keep at least two of the three.

Give the current state of PSID's keeper group I'd be keeping all three for the upcoming season.

Those top picks might be top 2 in their respected drafts..

Can we trade protective picks like in the NBA that'll be sick.

Its an interesting point - But it all depends on where you feel you sit. I mean most people are not acting like their picks will be top 3-5 when they're at this stage of the season.

The past 6 drafts, the Knights have picked #5, #3, #7, #1, #6, #1.

Average draft slot: #3.83

he's not just trading two firsts for those three players. he's also giving up all those tags that it's gonna cost to protect them.

But he's not gonna lose anyone worthwhile to keep them.

Yeah, but you don't feel this way coming INTO seasons. Am I saying I would do the trade? I don't know. Depends on the draft season and the draft classes involved.

What I do know is that I would be keeping all three with PSID's current keeper crew. It helps him develop a few keepers.

People knocked me early on for trading first round picks for keeper quality players, but they have become a core part of my keeper crew season in season out well after the picks were useful.

The opportunity cost is less about the tags and more about the players he will be unable to tag. And if we are being brutally honest, he's not really losing a lot.

Personally I'd rather play PSID without those guys and his two first round picks.

Keepers for the Knights

Joe Flacco QB 4 Tags
Anthony Barr OLB 2 Tags
Micah Hyde FS 2 Tags
Olivier Vernon DE 3 Tags
Jeremy Maclin WR 3 Tags
Kony Ealy DE 3 Tags
Bruce Irvin OLB 2 Tags
Larry Izzo STC 1 Tag

Also to weigh in on why I traded my picks. I have been so bad at drafting in this game I might as well get a couple of people I can tag in the future to try and make things better.
