Are the Redskins still a team?

I hope so. It would be embarrassing for you guys to lose so many times in a row to a non-NFL team Laughing

Doesn't ring a bell.

I don't blame you.

SOS doesn't mean much right now, but damn...

Quote:
The Philadelphia Eagles have the most difficult draw in all the NFL.

In an Insider post for ESPN, Aaron Schatz of Football Outsiders updates 2017 win projections for every team. A part of the forecasting formula that Football Outsiders uses is strength of schedule. The Eagles, turns out, have the toughest SOS in the league. The world champion Patriots, meanwhile, have the easiest road.

The NFC East in general faces an uphill climb, with the Dallas Cowboys (2), Washington Redskins (3) and New York Giants (4) all in the top five in strength of schedule.

Quote:
The problem isn't just these teams beating up on each other for six games -- the NFC East also draws the two West divisions, which means facing many of the league's top defenses. Right now in the NFC East, it isn't good enough to be good. You need to be great. With an easier schedule, an NFC South or West team doesn't have to play as well as an NFC East team to make the postseason as a wild card.

This is gonna be a tough season for all of us.

Strength of schedule is pretty meaningless once teams start accruing injuries. Most of the time it is about which team is healthier especially at QB.

You also have to account for the parity in the league to kick in at some point. There are always 4-7 teams that swap Playoff spots every year. Meaning there will be a 2018 version of last year's Cards, Panthers, Bengals, Broncos, Ravens, Cowboys, Raiders , Miami ect..... Happening too.

We simply don't know which teams will step up or take a step back from year to year. ON PAPER yes we should be beating the hell out of each other given our ACFW and NFCW draws but seasons aren't played on paper.

If they were played on paper, there would be less concussions.....

If Sam Bradford played against paper, he'd be the greatest football player that ever lived and it wouldn't even be close.

Wow.

David Irving failed test? PED?

If PED, that's 4 games, correct?

Yeah apparently it's PEDs.

That's a 4 game suspension for David Irving.

That hurts the Cowboys. There's really no good way to spin that.

Does he play football? David Irving sounds like the name of a guy that chases Caribu with a slingshot

He is a back up DE that had a few monster games last year. Fan favorite. Its a loss and it sucks, but we do have two new DEs this year. Hopefully depth doesnt suffer too much.

He played the 2nd most snaps out of your DEs last year. More than just "a backup".
