Also, another thing to consider; the players we drafted actually excels in specific areas of what we really need right now.

1). TJ Watt; ability to play in coverage in the 3-3-5 defense and has proven blitzing abilities.

2). Juju Schuster-Smith; proven red-zone capabilities and provide immediate intermediate routes.

3). Cameron Sutton; all-around cornerback with film-room junkie feeling who can step right away.

3). James Connor; if it wasn't for cancer and injury, would have been rated 2nd round or maybe earlier, compliments Le'Veon Bell's game.

4). Joshua Dobbs; clipboard quarterback with starting potentials. Haley's quarterback.

5). Brian Allen; elite athleticism with already pro-ready press coverage.

6). Colin Holba; pro-ready long snapper who can step right away and play for next decade.

7). Keion Adams; a player with same triangle numbers as Joey Porter who also has the size and athleticism to be a special team demon.

Of course, all of this is optimistic take but the Steelers took them with those abilities and known flaws. This draft wasn't deep, no it wasn't. The defensive backs class was one of the best to known date, still, teams overdraft them. We didn't have the luxury of taking the best player available; we took the best player that meets our needs. Due to the fact those players have those abilities, it is easier to keep them than getting rid of them.

Now, just humor this- hypothetically this draft class does turn out to be what we expect and they all contributes... Then we just may have the luxury of trading up next season. That's something I'd seriously consider. There wasn't a player on the board other than Hassan Reddick for me to trade up for. It wasn't a good EDGE class after all.
