Saints trading for Kendricks has been rumored for like the past 3 offseasons. Some sort of package involving him and Kelce makes the most sense, if the Eagles want to move him.

Kendricks + Kelce + Conditional 4th for Ingram?

That would be a pretty decent trade for both sides.

That's way too much

Two Andy guys who will never get back in favor with the current regime and probably wont start and a mid round pick(who will most likely bust) for a STUD running back who is when healthy a top 100 player in the league. Yeah soooo much... Rolling Eyes

Kelce is definitely starting if he stays here, and a fourth round pick isn't nothing. The fourth by itself should be enough. You're overrating Ingram and underrating a fourth and Kelce.

Ingram is 27 already, will turn 28 this season. Has one 1000 yard season out of six. And he's never started all 16 games. Meanwhile fourth round HBs turn out to be decent starters all the time.

Kelce and maybe a sixth. Or a fifth that can become a fourth. Or Kendricks and a fifth. What you're proposing is absurd

stuff like this is why he was traded. Very good player...but he's constantly banged up.
he's missed 1 game in 2 years with the saints, and there's a chance he's ready to go week 1. Idk if that's "constantly banged up"

Hes been hurt since his Freshmen year at Oregon. Even if he isnt missing a game, he will have like a limb duct taped up, a stress fracture some where or tendinitis or something going, hes always hurt.

There's my point^^^

He didn't miss many Seattle games either, but there was always something.
well he's also playing like one of the best linemen in the league, so his injuries don't seem to be slowing him down.

That's good. I think it was a great trade for both sides. Glad hie's keeping it together for the saints, really like the guy.

I'm pretty indifferent on Ingram, and while the stats you list are technically true, I don't think they really tell the whole story.

Yes, he's only had one 1k season, but this is the Saints you're talking about. Pass, pass, and pass some more. Ingram is one of those backs that needs to be fed the ball consistently to get going. He just doesn't get that in the Saints system. God forbid he has a run for 0 or -1 yards because then Sean P. abandons the run for the rest of the game. I think Ingram could have had more 1k seasons, but again, Saints....

As for not starting all 16 games, not all of those non-starts have been injury related. He's been nicked up a couple times, but nothing major. He's also been benched because he found himself in Payton's doghouse for one reason or another.

That said, I wouldn't mind seeing Kendricks in a Saints uniform, but I don't see the Saints trading Ingram.

One I didn't say he wasn't even worth a first. Two, 28 is the common drop-off age for running backs. We could get a decent 22 year old in the 4th next year.
