Not a fan. There's other positions I would have picked first, and other dts I would have picked first

I'm good with it. If he fell due to his weight, that's fine with me. He'll have professional trainers now who will help with that. It's the 6th round, a good time to take some risks.

Feel we could have used an OT somewhere in this draft.

Probably my fav pick in this draft...

Unfortunately he's going to a team with 6 other DTs on the roster

His arms are so short they make Barnett's arms look like oak trees in comparison, but he should provide quality depth. He looked real good in the playoff vs Bama.

Outside of the injured Allen. He will have a weight advantage over every one tho by quite a bit. Hes built similar to Allen and with Allen out, pretty convenient.

With Allen out Qualls is going to get all the second team reps. Should make our team.

With 7 sacks in the last two years as a NT, jernigan getting picked up, barnett in the first, they obviously want sacks however they can get them

This is one of the players I didn't want them to draft. Film was beyond underwhelming. Just a space eater. Lacks explosion out of his stance, didn't see him create any penetration. Was surprisingly better as a stand up off the edge. Would've preferred a lot of other guys here.

He's not even a good space eater imo

Just read an interview Qualls had with Draft Breakdown and thought this question/answer was pretty cool.

Quote:
Another fun question I asked a couple of your teammates was, if you were going to war tomorrow and could only bring one of your teammates, who would you bring and why?

Qualls: Thatís tough man [laughs]. If I was allowed to bring multiple guys with me, Iím taking the entire defense. I really developed a relationship with those guys. I absolutely trusted all of my teammates out there on the field. I didnít have any doubt that they were gonnaí come to every game and to every practice with the mentality that we just want to win at all costs. If I had to pick one person, it would be Sidney Jones. His talent doesnít even need to factor into my decision, thatís the guy Iíve developed the closest relationship with. Me and Kevin [King] grew up near each other so weíve been cool for a minute. Iím close to a lot of my guys, we had some classes together as well. Sidney Jones is basically my little brother though. Iíve cared about that dude since he got here. Our personalities are very similar, we like to stick to ourselves. At the end of the day, I know that I can call on him, and he knows that he can call on me. I find the two of us very similar. I just love that kid man.

I'm sure they are ecstatic to have landed on the same team. Hopefully they'll both be productive for us and have long careers as Eagles.
