These are the signings I've seen so far.

Joel Bouganon, RB, Northern Illinois

Rashaad Coward, DT, Old Dominion

Tanner Gentry, WR, Wyoming

Franko House, basketball forward, Ball State

Dieugot Joseph, OT, Florida International

Mitchell Kirsch, OL, James Madison

Andy Phillips, K, Utah

Jhajuan Seales, WR, Oklahoma State

Freddie Stevenson, FB, Florida State

Kermit Whitfield, WR, Florida State

Of note, we signed a Kicker, and a basketball forward?

This seems a fairly decent haul...I think if the season started tomorrow Stevenson would make the roster as our fullback...Coward has a shot given his 6-6" 322lbs frame and how thin we are on the DL...I've only seen a highlight tape of Kirsch but he looks like he could be a PS player who could develop at RT...Joseph is the most interesting one for me...LT athletic ability, length and feet...just needs to refine his technique and again with how thin we are at OT he could have a shot.

You could have look down the list a little bit to see this exact thread was already made.

30% touch back rate on kickoffs...his leg strength might not cut it in the NFL.

I've seen him in each of his last 3 games against ASU and never struck me as a lack of leg strength. He has 50+ yard range as a FG kicker. A high touchback percentage is indicative of leg strength IMO but a low one could potentially be that the team is strategically kicking right to the goal line, especially now that a touchback comes out to the 25.

My worry is as a senior he only took 10 kickoffs...Utah allowed a freshman kicker to take 64 kick offs...that freshman hit 46.8% touchbacks so I'm not sure it was a strategy.

I think

Coward
Diugot
Gentry

All look like ideal PR stashes for the Bears and shallow positions.

Absolutely love signing Stevenson. He was my favorite FB in the draft.

Perhaps not. We should find out pretty early in camp provided both he and Barth make it there.

And he also got to kick in the thin Utah air part of the time as well.
