I don't get the sense being lazy will last long with Gregg Williams.

Yep

Not only that, but if we had been a 1st or 2nd rounder, he could get away with it a bit more because those guys have a longer leash.

Being a 6th rounder with legal issues.... Dude is one false move from unemployment. I hope he realizes the position he is in and balls out on every snap.

And not act like a doosh.

He may not be guilty of whatever, but it sounds like he did some stuff that wouldn't make me proud if my boys did it.

He should have plenty of hard working, good influences in that DL room though.

I hope they give him a chance and I hope he doesn't goof it up.

I mean, Greg isn't exactly a choir boy. He comes off as cocky and brash. Not necessarily a bad thing but it may determine what is acceptable as personalities within the locker room. It doesn't change the off field expectations.

God, I wish this would stop... Greg Williams is a d***, and I love it, so is Belichick if you haven't noticed. He is a jerk and is good at what he does, his personality has zero bearing on what his expectations are for his players. He could care less if you like him or not, its either get the job done or get out of my eyesight. I like cocky and brash and players love to go to war with a guy who exudes confidence, you cannot be a sensitive little flower and play for him. I mean, you can have Ray Horton back if you want....

Please do not bring up him being a bad dude anymore, as you will see on the field, that will be our calling card as a defense.

The players will be who they are. I don't care if my boss is a goody two shoes or a cocky marine, I'm still me either way. I'm sure the majority of NFL players are the same way.

Can he rile them up? Sure. That is why I said it isn't necessarily a bad thing. I like Williams and I'm glad he is our D-Co. He is good at his job. Belichick was the worst at human relations. He was pretty much universally hated. He was good at his job though and that is the #1 requisite for most positions, specifically in the entertainment industry.

Garrett did play some snaps as a 3-Tech and did very well. He can most certainly line up there and I suspect he will on occasion. I'd keep him primarily outside, but if there's some poophead playing RG for the opposition, put Garrett on him.

One of Nassib, Garrett, or Ogbah will be playing a lot of 3 tech in passing situations. And we are going to have one of the more physically imposing lines in the NFL.

Ogunjobi is nice. He graded out as the 3rd best run stopping interior defensive linemen in the country. Thats huge if he can polish himself up because he has the tools.

I just hope Brantley didnt do anything wrong and charges get dropped. Not only for the sake of the women, but for the sake of the Browns. Remember he was slated as a late first/early second round pick before this happened? I have no worry about his laziness, if he gets through this legal stuff then he will come out motivated by Gregg Williams.

After their rookie years when they can take the sophomore leap, a defensive line consisting of a experienced and motivated Garrett, Shelton, Ogbah, Ogunjobi, Nassib and Brantley would be sick.
