Some of this is just spit balling/brainstorming as there's still a lot of games to be watched on these guys and some of it kind of a projection moving forward, but I'll just list the guys that quickly come to mind at his position without making much of a list:

QBs:
Sam Darnold
Josh Allen
Lamar Jackson

RBs:
Nick Chubb
Saquon Barkley
Derrius Guice
Ronald Johnson
Bo Scarbrough

WRs:
Courtland Sutton
Calvin Ridley
James Washington

TEs:
Troy Fumagalli

OL:
Mike McGlinchey
Orlando Brown
Martinas Rankin
Billy Price
Tyrone Crowder

DL:
Adren Key
Vita Vea
Christian Wilkins
Sam Hubbard
Da'Shawn Hand
Josh Sweat

LBs:
Azeem Victor
Rashaan Evans

DBs:
Tony Brown
Minkah Fitzpatrick
Derwin James
Quin Blanding

Won't be nearly as good of a class as 2017 was, IMO, but there are some strengths there.

How do you know.

At this time last year, nobody knew who Malik Hooker and Marshon Lattimore even were, Curtis Samuel was projected as a late round scat back and Gareon Conley was a projected as a mid round pick.

Deshaun Watson and Deshone Kizer were both slated as the #1-#2 picks in the draft as well.

It is absolutly worthless trying to waste energy projecting the next draft class.

Granted.

Just making a general observation that obviously could change over time. At this point, though, it doesn't look like it'll be as strong.

Don't see what the issue is either way.

2018 should have better talent at the top of the first round than 2017 but will have less depth.

I would have taken the following players in the top 10 of this year's draft ahead of anyone not named Myles Garrett or Corey Davis:

1. RB Saquon Barkley (Penn State)
2. S Derwin James (FSU)
3. WR Antonio Callaway (Florida)
4. DE Arden Key (LSU)
5. QB Sam Darnold (USC)

The talent at the top of the 2018 draft is incredibly elite.
