Love the pick. Huge position of need.

The lack of OG support is a big hole, but we do at least seem to be filling positions of need, and not reaching for them. Not a bad draft thus far.

Nice pick. I'm not sure that he is a nickel, but he certainly is a long boundary CB with very good man coverage skills, good zone coverage depth, and above average ball skills.

I feel like we targeted him to be Maxwells replacement for 2018.

I'm extremely concerned with our OG lack. We might need to package 2 of our round 5 picks to move into the 4th and grab a player like Dorian Johnson. I think Johnson is the second best OG in this class behind Lamp.

Like this idea but reckon we would have to give a next year 4th pick to do so.

I wonder if we have any trade bait on our roster?

Our secondary was woeful at times last season. Any chance to add a talented player to our secondary is a good thing, imo. We need a nickel back, I don't trust Lippett not to get abused.

I think he's Maxwell's replacement as well. He will be injury depth this year. Not a bad pick. Would have preferred Dorian Johnson, but maybe a trade can be swung to bring him in. I'm a fan.

Seems the only knock on this guy is his lack of run tackling/support. While this concerns me I have faith in Miami that this is not a problem for the plan they have for him.

I like this pick. I'd rather have a kickbutt OG, but our defense was clearly the main point of emphasis in this draft. And that approach was justified.

I really dont think there are any "kickbutt" OGs left when we made this pick, sadly.

I love the fact that we can now draft players based on upside and not necessarily on their ability to play right away like in the past. We are now adding competition/depth to the roster instead of replacing what we lost and that's awesome to me.

So the tape on CT shows he is an aggressive pass defender, with the speed to keep up with anyone. He doesn't like to play in the trail position, which led to a large amount of pass interference penalties in college. With his physical playing style, he seems to be well suited to cover TE's on passing downs. The reason that CT is in the third round, is he doesn't like to tackle players that are bigger than him, head on. He will just drop his head and shoulders, and dive into the players legs. This caused him to miss some important tackles during his career, where the runner broke through his half hearted attempt at a tackle and was gone to the end zone.

As it is, he is a talented cover CB who has the ability to improve to a true starter if he gets more aggressive in run support.
