As the draft winds, the negotiations for UDFAs begin.
SO here's hoping to another talent like Arian Foster or AJ Bouye ending up in Steel Blue.
My preferred targets:
QB Jerod Evans (VA Tech)
QB Sefo Liufau (Colorado) Bucs
RB Trey Edmunds (Maryland / VA Tech) Chiefs
WR Francis Owusu (Stanford) Dolphins
WR Austin Carr (Northwestern) Patriots
TE Zach Conque (SF Austin) Texans
TE Tyrone Swoopes (Texas) Seahawks
T Max Rich (Harvard) Patriots
G/C Cam Keizur (Portland St) Falcons
NT Eli Ankou (UCLA) Texans!
NT Josh Augusta (Missouri) (Patriots)
OLB / DE Cameron Malveaux (Houston) Dolphins
ILB Dylan Cole (Missouri State) Texans!
ILB Eric Wilson (Cincinnati) Vikes
CB Xavier Coleman (Portland St) Jets
S Jason Thompson (Utah) Patriots
S Kai Nacua (BYU) Browns
This site does a good job of tracking UDFAs: http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2017/4/29/15442116/undrafted-free-agent-signings-tracker-2017-nfl-draft
All I can say is that Belichick and I know talent... LOL

Two guys I want are
Alex Torgersen
Malachi Dupre
I think Dupre can make the team and be a good WR for us.
Torgersen would sit on the PS this year but he has some decent tools and is smart. Seems like the perfect type QB to be a in this league a decade as a backup but be truly useful in helping break stuff down.
EDIT: Guess Dupre is out. Stupid Packers _________________

Ricky Seals Jones from Texas A&M would be a nice pick up. We usually sign an Aggie WR to the practice squad. I think he can move to TE. I can't believe him and Soeedy Noil left early _________________

Some other guys that I'd look at.
Ben Boulware - think he can be a great ST player
Roderick Henderson - Talked about him before but love him as a developmental NT
Lorenzo Jerome - decent safety prospet
Aviante Collins - With our OL woes bring as many in as you can see if one or two hits.
Artavius Scott - Already took the rest of the Clemson team it would be rude to not invite him as well. _________________

Might be the only guy dumber and slower than Treston deCoud.
BTW - Feel the same way about KD Cannon and Ish Zamora at Baylor. I don't know who is advising these WRs to come out early, but there doesn't seem to be another position where ego and entitlement is more stroked to the players demise more that WRs in the various air raid systems. Cannon's an ok kid who got bad advice and could still become something with some seasoning on a practice squad. Noil, Seals, and Zamora are much more likely to show up on mugshots.com than on football cards. _________________

WR Justin Hardee ran a 4.36 40.... with 1.8 afterburner (time from 20 - 40)... that's crazy speed. But it looks like he only runs fast in straight line b/c his 3 cone time was horribad
I think many of our signees are camp bodies, but we got some gems as UDFA
Ankou should be a solid penetrator / pass rusher while Reader is the run plugger.
Dylan Cole will be a beast on STs and could take Cushing's spot next year (even over Cunningham) (Yes, I said that... if he doesn't, I will bet it's because of "politics" not production)
Conque is a former QB turned TE
Ankou and Cole should make the team and be contributors.

Update:
Seals-Jones - Cardinals
Cannon - 49ers
Zamora - Raiders
Noil - Huntsville Penal League _________________
