2017 Make the Eagles Great Again Mock

The purpose of this mock is to bring some grit back to the Philadelphia Eagles. This team has its star QB, now its time to give him some talent to work with and give this team an identity that it isn't to be messed with.

1st – Reuben Foster, LB, Alabama

Foster his here to bring the nastiness back to the Eagles defense. He doesn’t care whether it’s the other team or his own medical staff, anyone coming his way will regret it. Pump him up with whatever you got in the back because Foster is going to be a tackling machine until his shoulder falls off of his body and his brain completely disconnects from his skull.

2nd – Caleb Brantley, DT, Florida

Brantley is strong at the point of attack and has a great first punch that allows him to beat his opponent. At just under 300lbs Brantley would make a great rotation piece with the ability to develop into a regular member of the line.

***TRADE***Eagles trade their 4th round pick this year and their 3rd round pick next year to move back into the second round.

2nd – Tim Williams, DE, Alabama

Williams rushes the edge like he was shot out of an unpermitted pistol. He has a lot to learn in the NFL but with veteran guys in the locker room, like Nigel Bradham, Williams will learn what it takes in the NFL. Williams has a great first step and an awesome bend to get to the quarter of bud, I mean, quarter back on a consistent basis. Williams and Brantley will help solidify the line playing opposite of Cox and Graham.

3rd – Joe Mixon, RB, Oklahoma

Need someone that can punch through the line? Mixon is your guy. At 6’1” 227 Mixon will knock out anyone coming at him, even teenage girls. His ability to catch everything, including his hits on security camera, will be a great asset in the Eagles backfield

4th – Jourdan Lewis, CB, Michigan

This is a great draft to double dip where the talent is deepest, at woman beaters. Jourdan has a history of choking his opponents at the line and sticking with the drag routes. He would make a great slot corner with the ability to do more.

5th – Dede Westbrook, WR, Oklahoma

While we’re doubling down lefts get someone who makes the same mistake twice! Westbrook loves his football so much that he pushes, and punches, and bits anyone in the way of getting his football. He’s a great speed guy that is used to outrunning the cops on his wat to the end zone.

6th – Gareon Conley, CB, Ohio State

This one is a tough pill to swallow considering his allegations haven’t been cleared yet but Conley is a first round talent. On the field you get a playmaking corner back who sticks to his man. Off the field you get a guy who can initiate a foursome by the time the elevator gets to the 4th floor.

7th – Ishmael Zamora, WR, Baylor

At 6’3” 224lbs, Zamora offers a different skillset than Westbrook. He’s not a burner but he’ll beat anyone that tries to bite on his routes. He may have left school a little to early but his skills against the Bulldogs and the Huskies show that he’s ready for prime time.

Laughing but isn't grabbing all the "thugs" feeding the swamp instead of draining it?

Also we all know ticket buyers will be paying for that Wall of defense.

To many players from the Slap A Ho Tribe for me. Need a few more thieves and potheads mixed in to make it work. Whole lot of talent there though. Shame. Laughing

We are going to have sign Tebow or have some kind of anger management program installed to help these guys if we get all of them.

Unfortunately no thieves in this year's draft. Not even the standard "He stole his roommates playstation/xbox". Its a real weak position of this draft.

Listen, I'm trying to create an image here. Tebow would ruin all of that. Wentz is bad enough but at least he can play QB.

Maybe next year I'll add FAs. That said I think to avoid using the same FA references it might be better to stick to the draft only. We'll see.

...but i actually REALLY like this draft A LOT!
What i REALLY see as a possibility is this:
1st round (trade back in 1st add late third)-Mccaffrey or Cook
2nd round- John Ross
3rd round-Sidney Jones
3rd round-Gareon Conley

While that was the Slap a Ho mock, this would be the highly possible Wounded Warrior Mock.
