This works for me. The nice thing about Kazee is that he also could end up at FS due to his physicality, tackling, and ball-skills.

I still contend that Evan Engram is a WR in the NFL. Wink

Yeah I wont be one bit surprised if they snag Kazee in the 3rd, either via trade down or maybe even right there at 69 if they like him enough.

Haha dont worry, we just agree to disagree Im coo wit it.

I think that's a bit high for Kazee considering the CB talent in this draft.

I dont disagree at all, just saying I wont be shocked if it happens.

I'll be very shocked. The talent in this CB draft almost precludes it.

I think if Engram is there, he will be the pick. If he's not, my guess is Zay, JuJu, Kupp. *unless top CB slips.

I think the 2 FA signings and position changes will keep us from going Oline with our first 2 picks. McVay is stressing playmakers.

I also think if Zay, JuJu, Engram, and Kupp are ALL on the board at 37, we look to trade back 10-15 picks and grab an extra 3rd or 4th.

I think Engram is the pick as well. I don't see us taking Kupp. We should, but they kept talking about speed and explosiveness in the draft press conference.

I'm going to be disappointed on draft day. I have that feeling. Laughing
(Damn it, Chris, now you've spread it to me.)

Engram isn't anything to be upset about though. Him and Higbee. Robert Woods, Tavon. We will likely draft 2 WR this year in the 3rd round on and Spruce/Thomas/Pharoah.

That's a huge difference from last year offensively.

Part of me is also hoping for a RB to pair with Gurley/push Dunbar for his roster spot. That's a whole new offense.

Marlon Mack, Donnel Pumphrey, James Conner, Wayne Gallman in the 5th

I would be surprised if 2 WRs are taken, or at least 2 before late day 3. Especially if youre like jrry and consider Engram a WR-- that would mean 3 WRs Wink

Engram isn't anything to be upset about; however, I foresee a draft of us taking athletes over football players. That's my big fear.

Yeah Engram isnt for everyone, but besides Corey Davis, Engram is the other guy Ill pound the table for. I think he would do wonders for Goff and this offense regardless how he blocks.
It's just the more I have thought about it, the more I realize TE tweeners just don't work at the NFL level often. Counting on Engram to be an outlier.

Then again, we've never seen a TE like this. He's an outlier himself.

I think it depends who it is and what offense it is. If it wasnt McVay's offense I wouldnt be as big on Engram as Ive said before.

Nah. Youth + Athleticism lands you Brian Quick and Greg Robinson. Ability to play football is how it should be.

Engram isn't a tweener, though. He's a WR. WR/TE tweeners are generally guys who aren't big enough to be TEs or athletic enough to be pure WRs.

Engram is more than athletic enough to be a pure WR.
