Looks good to me.
Definitely gonna go to the game in Pittsburgh.
Maybe we can surpass 5 wins this season. _________________

I said before the schedule came out that i'm flying to Vegas and putting money on them to go to the playoffs. I think we will have a quality season 9-7 is realistic. I know that a lot of people may not feel that way and thats fine but I believe Gus was just that bad and Doug is potentially that good if he can get the guys to buy in. Its all on Blake if he plays like 2015 with reduced turnovers I think Blake needs a year of 59% Comp rate 3500 yards and 22TDs and 7ints if he can get numbers similar to that I think we will be fine. _________________ Who I wanted drafted vs Jags over the last 4 drafts

It's 2017 bud, you don't have to fly anywhere to do that.
I think you guys have a shot, that defense could be incredibly good, you have the talent at WR and will likely add more offensive talent in the draft. So like you said, if Blake can be serviceable it can be a major surprise. |

I like having no primetime games.

What on earth is there to "like" about being swept under the NFL broadcasting rug with no primetime game whatsoever? It's more embarrassing than the annual Thursday night joke routine. |

It boils down to the fact that we have not earned the right to perform on Thursday night, Monday night, or any night for that fact. We have taken a crap in our pants every time we step foot on the national stage due in part to before Gus we had Gene who void the team of talent and the we got Gus after a BS stint with Mularkey who just could not seem to know the slightest bit about preparing a team and developing schemes week to week in order to beat teams.
If you have a team that plays together they don't have to be the most talented team in order to beat another team. It was games that were down right embarrassing by Gus. I remember the days of the offense under Gus and we would run screen plays (just for the sake of running a screen play) and it looked like an accident on I-95 and people would throw their remotes at their TVs on Sundays. Opposed to when Marrone had Hackett run screen plays like crazy against the Titans and he actually had a game plan and he saw a flaw when they lined up in a certain front and the Jags screen game was breaking off chunk plays. Thats coaching folks and it will be a welcome sight come this Fall I can't wait.

Yeah, absolutely that's why we aren't getting a Primetime game this year.
But i don't understand what could be remotely to "like" about that. It's embarrassing tbh. It's an insult. It's been earned by putting so many garbage teams on the field for so many garbage games over the past forever. But i can't see anything at all to "like" about that. |

The schedule seems favorable on paper in April, but strength of schedule always changes as teams unexpectedly rise and fall each year.
I see anything less than 8 wins as a failure by the new regime, personally, but I know that the fate of the record largely rests on the shoulders of Blake Bortles and his struggles to protect the football and deliver accurate passes.
Presumably - efforts to aide the O-Line and the running game will help, but those things are still question marks and far from guaranteed.
I feel much better about Marrone and Hackett's abilities to get production from this offense than I did Bradley/Olson, but I really hope we see Coughlin/Caldwell add a stud rookie to that O-Line this week. It's been neglected for far too long. _________________

Come on, book it?
Picking 4th overall, if we want to win 10 games we better get above average (we had bottom of the barrel QB play last year, I'm talking top 10-15 QB play) QB play if we're winning 10 games. If we get the running game going (i.e. LF/Kamara/McCaffery/Mixon etc.) and our defense takes another step that's great and all, but we aren't more than tripling our win total from just those two things. _________________
