He has a lot of developing to do if he wants to play full-time de. I'd be a little worried about him losing that speed and quickness to a degree . Just can't see him playing d end at sub 250..
I bet he'd make a great mlb..he looks like a great fit in a 3-4 defense
Like I said tho like him better then most of these guys being mocked to us |

He's definitely a better fit as a 3-4 OLB, but if he's playing in the 4-3, I think he could develop into a pretty nasty MLB. Idk if he has the coverage instincts and ability to be a 4-3 OLB and he's too small to be a DE. He's just too athletic and has the pedigree, mentality and intangibles that I'd hate to pass up on. _________________

TJ Watt will be viewed as a late first yet when the dust settles he will be valued as a top 10. Watt is a nonstop monster. _________________ You Mix it up and I'll drink it, I am the Kool-Aid Man. |

Hey Michigan fans.
What happened to Derrick Green? What was the reason he transferred? |

I just don't know if he's scheme specific or not. I'd love to think he's a versatile player, but it's hard to convince myself of that. Idk if he can cover. I'd love to have him in Detroit, but struggle to figure out where he'd play. MLB? DE? WOLB? _________________

He was also lazy and showed up D1 fat and over weight. Never seemed to put the work in. _________________ R.I.P STYLISH. GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN |

Here is a great scenario. The Lions are looking for a TE in the draft and preferably one that can block and run routes with speed and quickness. We have Ebron and for what everyone says about him he has progressed at a very nice pace. Injuries slowed him last year. Fells is a nice option on short outs and red zone opportunities his real bread and butter are his ability to latch onto a DE or LB or CB and move them like a piece of furniture.
Mo Alie-Cox is a 6'6" 260 freight train ready to haul A-- through the NFL. Provided he can learn at a decent rate and put the work in then I would love to grab him up. He is I believe able to be signed instead of going through the draft process. If we were to sign him and develop him we would get our TE and not spend a draft pick. 2 birds one stone type of deal. There were quite a few scouts at his workout yesterday and all came away very impressed. This is a move that could change the direction of the draft for us. Sign him and let him dominate.
TJ Watt is the prospect I want most. After doing my own OCD scouting and evaluation I came to the conclusion that Watt is going to be special and nabbing him in the first at 21 may seem like a big stretch now but in 2 years after he has won rookie of the year and made 2 pro bowls people and the experts will be praising the Lions for taking him. He can play the Left DE in base 4-3 and shift out to LB when they run 3 down Linemen. He is a Quinn type player and he is a leader in the locker room.
If they are going to go corner and are thinking about a slot corner who can shift out and do some edge work then look no further than Jordan Lewis. He has very good coverage skills and very good hands. He should go in the second but maybe he slips to the 3rd. DT is another position I would like to see upgraded more so on the pass rush end of the spectrum. Carlos Watkins of Clemson. Underrated pass rushing DT. Really knows how to get to the QB with decent size. Demarcus Walker is another stud whom I think this being undervalued. _________________ You Mix it up and I'll drink it, I am the Kool-Aid Man. |
