I thought they were encouraged by Benenoch to be the swing tackle. A full offseason and hopefully he won't get injured early in training camp

I thought he was a guard.

Yeah I thought they moved Bennenoch inside permanently. Needs must I suppose, but I do think we have need for depth at tackle anyway.

With Marpet moving to centre, Pamphile and Sweezey probably have the opportunity to start either side. Bennenoch and Hawley likely back up the interior line. Smith and Dotson start at tackle. I'm unconvinced by Wester as the swing tackle.

We have 3 tackles on the roster. It's a position that's surely in play in this draft.

I think Bennenoch was viewed as a guy who can play Guard and Tackle. With that garbage that replaced Dotson in Dallas due to injury gone, I think Bennenoch will be moved to Tackle and be the swing guy who can also kick inside if needed like Pamphile was used before finding a home at LG.

It is still intriguing how Marpet performs at Center though. I hate moving him from G to Center, but Sweezy is very good when healthy. If he's healthy, you need your 5 best guys out there. And Pamphile did not dissapoint at Guard. The Bucs also have high hopes for Bennenoch and could potentially replace Dotson on the right side.

This draft just offers very weak depth and quality tackles that I can see the bucs not drafting a Tackle overall. They honestly may be better off utilizing the UDFA pool than taking one late. It's that bad and every talent evaluator agrees. Theres a few that are good but first and second round may be a reach.

We seem to have a lot of versatile guys on the line at present. Theoretically we could start 5 guys who have played tackle either in college or in the pros, and that's without Sweezey Laughing

I agree on the point about the depth of this class. We could be focusing on next year for oline due to the lack of quality in this draft. There's plenty of solid prospects in other positions of need, so drafting a OT high in this draft would be extremely disappointing. The "Jason Licht move" would be to pick up a raw, athletic prospect either very late on, or as a UDFA.
