I really kind of want to stay away from the big injury guys. I just have a very bad feeling about these guys staying on the field.

A trade back between 10-15 is just too ideal for me.

Also have a feeling they end up taking a TE with one of our first round picks.

Gosh, I REALLY hope his name gets called to the Titans in the 1st round. I would be over the moon happy and probably actually get his jersey. Haven't bought one since Locker, but Corey is my boy.

Intriguing visitor for the Titans: ECU WR Zay Jones in Nashville to meet with the team tomorrow, source says. Titans have two 1st-rd picks.

Please.. There isn't a player I want to be a Titan more than Zay Jones.

Lol you got me. I am Zay Jones.

But yes. I want him to be a Titan. Do I think he is the best prospect in the draft or even the best wr? No.

But he is my favorite guy. Love how he carries himself. How he appears to work. How it looks like it means something him. Just his overall game too.

There are guys I want us to draft, but none would make me happier than having Zay on the team.

Stringfellow, who we had in for a private workout, is a guy I thought stood out when watching other players. I thought he was better than Treadwell last year. Kind of the way I look at JuJu and some of USC's receivers.

LSU safety Jamal Adams could be the man for the Tennessee Titans if they stick and pick at No. 5, but whatever he will have done to win Tennessee over wonít have unfolded in Nashville.

In a phone chat Friday morning he told me he met with the Titans at the combine and he was sure Titans defensive backs coach Deshea Townsend was at LSUís pro day. But Adams has not visited the team in Nashville and is not scheduled to.

Thatís hardly a harbinger. Plenty of players are drafted by teams that didnít have them in as one of their 30 non-local visits.

ďIím getting some interest from them,Ē Adams said. ďI really couldnít tell you how much. Iím just enjoying the process and Iím just waiting.Ē

Apparently Adams hasn't visited the Titans Sad

Stringfellow is an intriguing guy after the the 4th round. Depending on who we get early,it would be a good guy to draft.

It doesn't bode well for historical evidence. We haven't drafted a guy that we haven't had in town for a visit as long as I have been keeping up with it. I think that is at least the last 5 years.

To be fair, that trend is pretty irrelevant these days. Our current GM, head coach and scouting department have only had one draft thus far, the way things operated in the Webster years don't really help to establish any track record for JR.

This is true.
It's been only one season with Robinson.

Last year, I counted 4 players we tracked with the thread, that we drafted:
Conklin (visited): Well Documented.

Henry:Combine conversation is the only thing I found for him.

Byard: (I don't think he got to visit, because of scheduling conflicts, but Murlakey and Robinson personally went to work him out)
Quote:
Byard said he worked out for Titans coach Mike Mularkey, general manager Jon Robinson and others on Thursday. The Titans had several scouts at Byard's pro day and, according to NFL.com's Gil Brandt, is one of the top teams in pursuit.

Sims: (visited) http://www.nfldraftdiamonds.com/southern-utah-leshaun-sims/

But we shall see if they will take someone that hasn't come into the facility.

I do think that the odds are in favor of us taking someone that we've talked to, if only because we've seemingly talked to nearly every possible pick.

With that said, we talked to Adams at the combine, so it's not impossible.

That's strange about Adams...

There was a lot of information about both Mularkey and Robinson being there for the Pro Day. There was also a lot of reports at the LSU pro day quoting Adams that he had a visit lined up with the Titans.

If there was a visit scheduled, I wonder what happened.
