I would've went McDowell, but his character issues still throw me off

So I went Cook.

And I guarantee that would go up if you drafted Cook.

Malik McDowell. He has top 10 talent and if he hadn't hurt his ankle last year I think we'd be talking about him being selected in the top 10, not in the second half of the first round. I think he's a starter for the Redskins on day one and a difference maker on their DL.

No it wouldn't because the man who's calling the plays is going to call passing plays more than running plays, that's been his mo since he started calling plays in the NFL for the Bengals 6 years ago.

That's a hard selection because with Williams available idk how you don't select him. That said I think the fan base would lost their minds. Tons of good players there to not go wrong with. I still think Peppers is the best football player on this list but I'm not going to be a broken record on that subject. With the ILB's gone the value for us is between Williams, Peppers, Cook, McCaffery. McDowell is the best available at our biggest need and talent wise he's right there with those guys. That said you can come back round 2 and get a DL who is a better value. But with our round 2 success we might have better luck not ever taking a player in round 2 ever again. I can see Watson but that is the moment you made up your mind Kirk is gone and you trade him for whatever you can get. So do you go RB if so I'd go McCaffery. Do they have the backbone to hold BPA and go Williams or Peppers? Or do they gamble because I'm not calling McDowell a reach. At the end of the day this team needs the best player period!!!!! My pick would have to be Williams. I go Williams because the value at DL and Saftey and RB is so high later in the draft we could have JD, Williams and Crowder for the future. Along with Pryor this year if Kirk thought he could go anywhere else and have better weapons he would be out of his mind! In round 2 I'd have my pick between McMillian, Maye, and Adams. Those would be my targets round 2. My wildcard pick is Obi M from Uconn. I think our interest in this guy is very real along with Tanoh from Villanova I could see those 2 being our top 2 picks this year

As a Redskins fan I would hate if we spent our 1st round pick pn Cook.
