20 more days until the draft! I'll probably do one more before the draft after this it will probably be a guess at what the Eagles will do..

2017 NFL Draft:

*Trade* The Eagles give up the 14th pick and Jason Peters T for the 26th pick and Richard Sherman CB

With the 26th pick the Eagles select Takarist McKinney DE 6'2" 250 UCLA

Analysis: We add a top CB in the NFL and that's what makes this trade so good.. I know Sherman is 29 but we get rid of Peters who would be gone next year and his cap space clears room for Sherman also let's us see what Lane can do at LT.. See how I think the O line will shake out in the Depth Chart.. Now getting into to Tak I think he has a tremendously high ceiling he also will have an impact this season has a pass rush specialist a D Line of Curry, Jernigan, Cox, Graham, Long, Allen, and McKinney that's scary..

With the 43rd pick the Eagles select Chris Godwin WR 6'1" 210 PSU

Analysis: Godwin might be the most underrated WR in this draft he reminds me a little but of Amari Cooper similar build speed and play style.. Amari is better after the catch and has hands like glue but Godwin could push Smith to start early on..

With the 99th pick the Eagles select Brian Hill RB 6'1" 220 Wyoming

Analysis: My RB rankings go Fournette and McCaffery at the 1 spot then Cook then Hill.. Hill is all effort he is a a hard hat type player with experience in ZBS and PBS I think he'd be a nice complement to Sproles and Smallwood.

With the 119th pick the Eagles select George Little TE 6'4" 250 IOWA

Analysis: He kind of reminds me of Celck he might a little more athletic he is insurance for moving on from Peters and will help be a security blanket/extra blocker for Wentz.

With the 139th pick the Eagles select William Likely CB 5'8" 180 MARYLAND

Analysis: Has a kid he used to catch 5 rabbits a day and I'm not joking that's the kind of quickness he has he will be restricted to the slot because of sizes but should be noted he plays much bigger and isn't afraid to hit. He is also a great return man and will match up well with the slot receivers in the NFCE (Beasley, Chrowder, Sheppard).

With the 155th pick the Eagles select Joshua Dobbs QB 6'3" 220 TENN

Analysis: I know a lot of people will think this is early for a QB but I think the Eagles want to be deep here.. I never worry about drafting QBs they are so overvalued they often lead to high draft picks Nick Files essentially ended up coming back the same year he got us a first round pick since he was swapped for Bradford. Dobbs is a dual threat with a quick release and is extremely smart.. My sales pitch would be he's the next Jake "The Snake" Plummer Laughing

With the 194th pick the Eagles select Matt Milano LB 6'0" 225 BC

Analysis: He's a heat seeking missile and ST demons good value this late.

*Trade* We trade Kendricks to the KC for the 216th pick

With the 216th pick the Eagles select Kyle Kalis G 6'4" 310 Michigan

Analysis: Very well teached he has athletic limitations but should be pretty decent guard in the NFL.

With the 230th pick the Eagles select Weston Steelhammer S Air Force

Analysis: A great name and is tied for most INTs with 18 for active players he will try and make the roster as a ST player.

53 Man Roster:

QB- Wentz-Foles-Dobbs
RB- Sporles- Hill/Smallwood- Marshall
WR- Jeffrey-Matthews-Smith-Godwin-Turner
TE- Ertz-Burton-Kittle/Celck
LT- Johnson-Barbre
LG- Wisniewski-Warmack
C- Kelce-Seumalo-Andrews
RG- Brooks-Seumalo-Kalis
RT- Barbre-Vaitai

LE- Curry-Long
1T- Jernigan-Allen
3T- Cox- Vaeao
RE- Graham-McKinney-Smith
MIKE- Hicks-Walker
OLB- Bradham-Goode-Milano
CB- Sherman-Mills-Robinson-Likely-Smith
FS- Jenkins-Watkins
SS- McLeod-Maragos-Steelhammer

K- Sturgis
P- Jones
LS- Dornbos

The value you're giving Sherman is a 2 and 3 for an old decling product of Seahawks scheme CB. Rather draft someone young. Not a big fan of the draft. Woukdnt like this at all

I know that's approx what people say it would take in a trade to get Sherman but I'd rather someone young. But if it went this way I'm ok with some of ur picks. Not on Hill though rather have Connor. The Kendricks trade is no good IMO and don't like the two 7th round picks

Its cool bro this is just what I want personally.. Looking back I think someone else in the 2nd could really make this draft better.. I knew I was taking heat for the Sherman trade but I think they would take Peters I'd swap Sherman all day for Peters because he's gonna be gone anyways after the season and wed get a top 5 CB in return I think were a lot closer to competing than people think Sherman would really help that cause we had an elite D for parts of the season Sherman would also make our CBs backs better.. I am skeptic about his fit in our scheme but he's better than anyone else we can get how would you feel if I took a CB in round 2 and a receiver later?

Yeah I think were stronger with Kendricks I wanted to mover him just for another pick.. How would you feel if I swapped Godwin with a Wilson, Awuzie, or another CB and added a WR later?

On the trade.. It's another "kick the can down the road" move on a major need.

I don't think Takk is there at 26

The rest of the draft is blahhhh.

Honestly hate it. Nothing personal. Just don't like a single move.
