Okay, I was intrigued by Kiwi's assessment of Chris Canty. Big, quick, athletic, might make a great 1st Roud pick. The question is how durable is this cat. They say a knee injury ruined his senior year. Also, might he be available in the later rounds?

Some say that he would have been a possible 1st rounder if he didn't have the knee injury. Also, he was hit in the head with a beer bottle this winter by his workout partner. There was a chance of eye problems but it looks like he will be fine. Canty is 6'7" and around 280 lbs. or more and a frame that will allow him to put more weight. I think that he will be available to the Packers if they want him in the 2nd round.

Yeah like Birdman said there was the bottle to the head but I think he is healed from that and the knee injury. He is a monster DE he racked up 104 tackles his junior year I think he will be there with our first second rounder but not sure about our second.

On there it states that Packers may use a second rounder on Charlie Frye. Which i hope they are thinking this thorughly because Chris Canty is a very good player and if he slips to us in the second round we should think about taking him and not Charlie Frye....unless they are set on taking Frye with the first second pick and not the second second pick.

Charlie Fyre probly won't be around very long in the second round and we might end up taking Canty with the first second rounder if we don't get a DE in the first. I just can't see us pass him up if we get Crowder or Pool in the first. He is a quality type player.
