Sullivan's departure had more to do with Berger than anything else. Berger has been the most steady OL for the Vikes the past two years and is better at this point. Nick Easton is the preferred backup given that he might have a future as a starter.

I don't recall Sullivan being much of a factor for Chicago last year.

I think he could be a decent pickup for the Rams. He's had injury problems in the past but at 32 he could still have something left in the tank.

Not a long term solution just a stop gap and another veteran on the OLine. Our future center likely isn't on the roster, he's waiting to be drafted.
