Why haven't we been talking more about Lattimore being the pick at #3?

I think he very well could be if the hamstring checks out.

I am not sure how much Pace wants to gamble with the health issues.

He would be a rock solid pick and his movement skills are incredible. There are some cut ups on twitter that show him change direction backpedaling faster than the WR running forward.

The way he's headed, Kizer is losing ground with his poor combine performance and disappointing season at ND. Any chance we take him in the 2nd round?

That would be ideal but I do not see the QB talent falling to 36 when you consider that the number of teams that could reasonable go QB that pick between 3 and 36.

NYJ - Trubisky
Buf
CHARGERS- Watson
Clev
Ari - Mahomes
Hou
KC - Kizer
Clev
SF

I do not see how any of the 4 make it through that gaunlet.

I do not really see anyway around it. I do not see the top 4 guys falling to 36 and I do not see a QB worthy of 36.

But I am not as low on Peterman as you. I think he can absolutely be an Andy Dalton type QB, which for the Bears is a huge upgrade, but I concede is not an elite player.

You don't think Andy Dalton would have been worth 36? Or just mean after the top for none are worth 36?

I don't think Peterman could hold Dalton's jock.

I don't think Peterman is as good a prospect as Dalton and I also do not think he is worth 36.

I think he could become a Dalton level QB, who can win games when he has a good team and will make more plays than he makes big mistakes.

If I wasn't scared to death of his hammy I'd be banging the table for him at #3. I've never scouted an NFL player with the footwork ability of Marshon Lattimore, and that's genuine.

Check this tape out of him one on one in press against Nebraskas #1, click to the 2:10 mark and watch how fast that crossover to sidestep/backpedal is, sticking to his man like glue, head turned around from the get go. That's one of my favorite short clips of film of any player this season.

Lattimore seems to be the type of premium athlete Pace targets with his top picks. I'd hope the Bears check on him. If they're willing to look at Allen they should at least consider Lattimore.

All while running a 4.36 at 6' 193 lbs. He fits everything Pace seems to go for in a 1st round pick, I think it all truly hinges on his medical.

It's all good but not sold on Petersen. If they do the rest, I'll not object to drafting him there.
