Back in the fold:
Per roto Quote: | Chiefs re-signed DE Jarvis Jenkins.
Jenkins started last season with the Jets but was cut midseason only to quickly land back on his feet with the Chiefs five days later. He played 266 snaps total in 2016, playing adequate run defense. Jenkins, 29 next month, will have to earn a spot in the Chiefs' defensive line rotation this summer. |

I like this signing. I thought he did pretty well in his limited time with us. Our DL looks great and I can't see us drafting anyone in the first five rounds unless there's insane value.
Howard, Bailey, Jones, RNR, Jenkins, King, Logan, Johnson, Hughes and Barnes. That's ten guys and I think the first seven are near locks to make the roster. _________________

Interesting. I liked the guy coming out but dunno where he is as a player now.
Quote: | Free agent ILB Rey Maualuga will visit the Chiefs on Thursday.
Maualuga was cut by the Bengals on Saturday. Kansas City will be his first-known visit. Now on the wrong side of 30, Maualuga would be a run stopper for a team with little depth behind rehabbing Derrick Johnson (Achilles').

Decent player in run game not sure I want another 30 + LB coming off an injury though. |

When I read he was released I thought the Chiefs should take alook. That was pure name recognition though. Would probably need to be a contract without much guaranteed. He could possibly fill the Mauga spot. _________________ Follow me on Twitter:@KC_Guy

I hear ya there man, unless we're just looking for a bandaid and (as KC_Guy mentioned) an easy contract i could see where the interest would be. I read something that in Cincy he was more the lockeroom leader type of guy but mediocre in other areas. We might need that spitfire vet while DJ is on the mend, at least, as far as our young ILBs go.
Guess we'll find out thursday. _________________ KANSAS CITY CHIEFS |

Yeah I definately don't blame them for looking and if he's willing to sign cheap could give us a little insurance inside but his game is limited even when healthy imo to a 2 down player. |

I would try and sign him cheap on a 1-2 year prove it contract. _________________

It's a good TE class. I'd rather take a chance on a draft pick. Doesn't hurt to look though in case we don't draft someone. _________________

He has some solid raw talent, but never materialized it to much. This doesn't make much sense with like 3 of those types already here. Hopefully this is a minimum/no guarantee deal. _________________
