Just put my $100 deposit down for the new stadium. Nervous to see how much they are going to charge for PSL's. Hopefully they will be more like what the Vikings charged $500-$10k as opposed to the 49ers $2000-$80000.

Agreed. I actually was coming here to see what people expect the PSL to get up to. I put my deposit down and I am also hoping that the range falls towards the Vikings side obviously, but I dont know what goes into determining the PSL cost.

PSL = Personal Seating License.

Essentially, new stadium builders don't want season ticket holders making a profit from their labors in the resale market so they charge a premium for the "privilege" to purchase seat tickets.

In short, you pay (est$20K per seat) before you get your season tickets and you have first dibs on any event.

Important to note that PSL is a one-time fee. It's a way to raise funds for building a stadium. You pay thousands upfront for the RIGHT to buy season tickets. If you stop buying season tickets you forfeit the PSL. Its not for the faint of heart.

They can be resold to someone else, but it appears rare to regain your investment.

And they can range widely. Im not sure what goes into it, and if the vast public funding will affect it.

I read somewhere that they would be looking for $250-$300 million in PSLs. That would be an average of $3000-$4000 per seat. I would guess suites would be over $10k and sideline lower bowl to be $7000-$10k depending on the seat. So upper bowl may be $500-$1000. Obviously just guesses, but that would be my guess. I will will assume the more people they have on the waiting the list the higher the PSLs will cost.

Unfortunately I see no downside. Players have so much time to check homes, schools and move over family. Rams players had a hard time as it wasn't for sure until it was, then MOVE!!! Once the players get moved the taxes, facilities, the energy will all be better. I will always call them the Oakland Raiders or just Raiders like I did when we moved to LA. Oakland will always be where we came from and the history of who we are. However the local sheriffs pulling over Stabler and making sure he gets back to the hotel have been long gone. High character and will only be adding players that fit that mold especially from here on out. Girlfriend wants to move to Vegas and this just motivates looking into a 3 bed condo that we can offer on travel sites as an investment. Like there or not, I go there enough with her that it opens many doors. I've thought about offering rides to players as a way to get home safely, but Uber and Lyft are so cheap it shouldn't be necessary.
I'm sad for the move but excited at the same time as I prefer Vegas over LA/SD/Portland SA etc...In my heart Oakland is our HOME and like most people it's good to move away from home to learn and grow. Why should a franchise be any different. I work weekends but it tickets get cheap, I'll probably go to my first live pro game. I prefer tv but the team will ALWAYS have my support. If the name changed then it's different or if they get a Jaguar like look I'll have to puke and stop watching altogether. Gives me more time to enjoy my Sunday's Laughing

There is no state income tax in Nevada so if anything Las vegas would be way more appealing to free agents than any place in california. The players will make more money.

You dropping the Eagles and becoming a Raiders fan?

As for the PSL - I bet they are super expensive and sell out quickly. Every casino is going to buy hundreds of them as perks for high rollers and entertainers.

Smile Naw i'm good man. They'll probably move back in about 20-30 years. I'll be waiting.

Lol that's not the same thing though.

I'm so glad I didn't pick a name associated with a player or city (as both the team and I have moved).

Haha all good man. If people wanna troll me for my name, its all good.

Actually why the Sio stuff if you don't mind me asking? That was his twitter handle a while back, right?

Yeah. I thought it was cool because I like a lot of players with 55/56 so when I joined, i figured i'd choose a young promising player as a good avy.

I find it funny because now the team's about to not be "oak" and sio also isn't on the team Laughing .

If anything, my name is way more hilarious now. Laughing

Gotcha. I just picked mine because it wasn't attached to anything other than the team itself. And 88 just sounded cool after. Plus no player had 88 when I picked it. Was between the Doug Jolley days and Nick Kasa days. Even still Clive isn't relevant haha.

??? The whole strip/City is going to be a Raider party before the game. It will be different, but I wouldnt call partying in Vegas before the game "hard" to do.

Can't wait.. the strip is going to be NUTS Sunday Mornings when the Raiders move.. honestly the Raiders are going to create so many more jobs and help the economy in Vegas. Jobs within the company and every play being ridiculously busier on Sundays.

Just the cost of living will be attractive to free agents. You can spend less and get a bigger place. Overall I like the move as long as they don't try to re-brand the franchise.

I'm interested to see what type of deals hotels will have with game tickets. You would think that they will have some type of bundle deals.

Yup Casino's have no real interest in making a big profit off of rooms and local tickets. They just want to make the deal so good you come. They make their money on gambling and to a lesser extent but still large, alcohol.
