Very capable player....

Not sure if this is saying "he has interest" or "MIN has interest".
Hopefully its both or the latter ... and hopefully we are evaluating all remaining LB free agents.

I'm sure it is more of Chris digging in on former players that he still has on his contact info.

Of course he is interested if the money is there.

Of note, Zach Brown is visiting with MIA today.
Top Free Agent left available according to this:

I wonder if he has MN crossed off his list. At best, he's only playing 50% of the time here barring injuries.

Biggest question is if Zimmer, Speilman, and the coaching staff would bring him back. For what it's worth, I thought Hodges did all right when on the field. Not the best, and not without mistakes or shortcoming, but he did okay, and that is what we generally need for a 3rd LB and depth. The problem is that Zimmer and the FO were willing to deal him, and from what I recall, it seems like he may have been in Zim's doghouse to a point.

If the price is cheap, and the team is on board, i'd be fine with him returning. More than anything, I suppose I am surprised that he would be willing to come back after the team traded him away, which I would assume most players would take as a slap in the face rather than a business decision... then again, money talks.

Hodges was at MLB with Zimmer, correct?

Might be a better fit at OLB. I'm not opposed to bringing him in but I'd still like to see a LB drafted by round four.

I seem to remember them moving him around between WLB and MLB.

I wouldn't mind seeing Tyler Gaffney brought to camp if he is healthy, I always liked him, could make a good 3rd option.

Hey at least he is trying to get some info. Vensel, Krammer, Goessling, Collier, are pretty good writers but a pretty poor IMO at getting info from the team or about the team.

Price has about as many different Jersey numbers as he does games played it feels like

There was likely money exchanged.

Usually that's how it's done. Sometimes players do just give them up.

Hell, if I was a fringe roster maker this year, I'll take the extra cash and give up my number.

Quote's from Zimmer on the 2017 Vikings Roster/Offseason on Paul Allen's 9 to Noon Show:

He says he has Twitter.

Domata Peko said 3/11 “Vikings were pretty big’’ trying to get him as free agent Zimmer said on radio "was no interest in..trying to get him

Mike Zimmer says on radio going to Michigan State, Ohio State, Michigan pro days.

on Pro Days: "I want to see, how fast they can get from point A to point B. The acceleration. How they interact/take to coaching."

On Oklahoma RB Joe Mixon impression:"We wanted to get a feel for him. Good visit. Talked about his past and how he's going to change"

"MacKenzie Alexander gets first crack to replace Captain"

left message with Rhett Ellison's dad after his "toxic leadership" comment. "He didn't seem fit to call me back.''

"Kentrell is a 2 down MIKE LB, Kendricks can play all over" Hesitant on moving him out of MIKE

likes Rieff and Remmers for being "tough-smart" guys.

"picking up blitz and blocking from a RB key on this years offense"

on Latavius: "Not having to substitute him out on third down, that's good...want to get him breaking tackles, getting long runs."

on chance for Sharrif Floyd: "It's all up to Sharrif. He's trying to get healthy. [If he does], he has a chance to have a good year."
