I'll say this again. Free Agency is a two way street. If Barwin had his mind made up to go to Cinci or the Rams it doesn't matter. We reached out to him. He chose to play for his old DC. It doesn't matter what we wanted.

That part is fine. My issue is people don't really understand the money part 100% still.

Hahahahaha.

Jones' only chance is to go to Tenn. Otherwise he is flipping burgers this fall.

Poe signed with Atlanta on a 1 year deal for $8m that can reach $10m with incentives. I know it seems like a lot for a "2 Down player" but I think people underestimate how much of a difference a disruptive NT makes. A line of Cam, Poe and Tuitt with Dupree, hopefully a Rookie talent like Harris/Lawson/McKinley and Shazier holding down the LOS would be devastating. I'm talking Old School Hampton/Smith/Harrison/Woodley devastating.

Thats assuming they would let him attack, and not make him play patty cake.

Hargrave can be plenty of disruptive. Poe wouldve been nice, dont get me wrong, but I dont think we would use him in a way that would highlight what he does well. I wish we would.

Outside the box option at CB....Keenan Lewis.

Not sure if he is physically good to go since he has been hurt the better part of the last 2 years, but I wouldnt mind kicking the tires. He has the instincts....just a matter of seeing if his body can still hold up.

Tyson Alualu visiting Steelers. I liked him coming out but have not watched him play. Could be OK depth.

I'd expect him to be able to take on a lot more snaps than Matthews.

I'd like to see them add some LB depth here. I'd really be interested in Dumervil. I think that's a guy who could end up being a steal in FA for some team. There's still something left in the tank.

D'Qwell Jackson at ILB.

Both are likely older than the Steelers would want.

Prayers with former WWE announcer Jim Ross' wife who was in a terrible car accident yesterday. Jan Ross is a Steelers fan through and though. Per Jim Ross' blog:

We hope that the swelling of Jan's brain will subside soon as it must for her to survive. It's that simple. Nonetheless my little, Italian angel who loves her Steelers and all things Pittsburgh is fighting for all's she worth to save her life.

Apparently we signed Jason Fanaika. 6'3 270, undrafted out of Itah. Played in San Fran last year. No link. No idea who he is.

Disregard. Wexall on Twitter announced it and I thought name sounded familiar. We signed him back in February Laughing Stupid [inappropriate/removed] backward reporters!
