Emphasis on this draft is clearly on the defense. This draft features two starters and two real role players - and a potential injured started the following year. The prominent feature of the defense is how many players can play multiple positions.

The offense isn't tweaked much. A fighter-grinder is added to keep Zeke fresh and assist is wearing teams down and someone is drafted to compete with Green for RT. Hopefully Knight will serve as a capable back-up allowing the team to eventually role with just two QBs.

While only 14 *new* players are added, consider that 5 returning players never dressed in the regular season last year. So the roster has a 19 player turnover - 35%.

Criticize away!

You need to replace Thomas for a more realistic pick since he, at this time, appears headed for a top 10 pick. The rest is good and somewhat realistic.

It is probable he's gone. I think one of Thomas/Bennett/Rivers will be there. Should they all be gone, sub in Takk.

Would love this, but as previously mentioned this is highly unrealistic at this point.

I like both of these guys, but they're both safeties. What's the plan?

Quote:
Round 4 Pick 26: Sidney Jones, CB, Washington

As a stash guy, why not?

Would love this pick. Trade is fine too.

Yup.

Quote:
Round 7 Pick 10: Jon Heck, OT, North Carolina
Round 7 Pick 28: Trevor Knight, QB. Texas A&M

Don't know anything about Heck. Knight isn't an NFL QB so that's a waste but it is a 7th. I'd rather look at Cooper Rush or Seth Russell if we're taking a QB and they could both be available.

*TRADE* [i]Anthony Hitchens traded to the Browns for a 2018 6th round pick.

Why?

He did it to spite me. This is what Gator Scum does.

Hitchens isn't great, needs to be more consistent, etc. But, someone who can play all 3 LB spots is a huge asset.

Speaking of Gator scum... has anyone else been reading up on Aaron Hernandez second murder trial? Dude wanted street cred more than an NFL career. Clearly UF is to blame.
