5 years, 35-40MM or so. Totally made that up.
If I'm Tampa or Houston or MN, I'd want him. _________________ Wins are a team stat, not a QB stat |

If true, that would be quite a shock. _________________

Any player considering retirement after the age of 30 isn't all that shocking. _________________

Last year, Washington quarterback Kirk Cousins move quickly to accept a one-year, $19.95 million franchise tender from the team. This year, not. Per a source with knowledge of the situations, Cousins has not yet applied pen to paper, four days after Washington extended a one-year, $23.94 million offer for 2017. Until the offer is accepted by Cousins, it can be rescinded by Washington.
Last year, Cousins signed the tender one day after it was extended.

sort of NFL News. sort of...
Tim Tebow is playing in his first ever spring training game today. And a few minutes ago he had his first ever at-bat. It was a quick one: Rick Porcello of the Red Sox struck him out on four pitches.
In Tebow’s second at bat, in the fourth inning, he came up with no outs and the bases loaded. He fouled off a couple of pitches and took a ball high and then . . . grounded into a 4-6-3 double play. A run scored, tying the game. He doesn’t get the credit for an RBI, of course, but he did get a standing ovation. For grounding into a DP. So on he goes.

Mike Loyko @NEPD_Loyko
Per @mlombardiNFL "I hear Seattle really would be open to moving Richard Sherman if the offer was serious."

The ones I'm in favor of?
- Prohibiting the leaper block on FG/XP
- Eliminating the limit of 3 challenges (personally, I think you should only be able to be wrong twice period...in a Family Feud-esque way, where you keep going until wrong twice)
- Permit a coach to challenge any officials' decision
- Make crackback blocks prohibited by a backfield player in motion
- Eliminate the mandatory cutdown to 75 players
- Allow a concussed player to be put on the Exempt List and replaced with a PS player until cleared
- Allow an alternate helmet
- Allow negotiations and agreements with assistant coaches during postseason for head coaching jobs _________________

I don't want overtime cut short. Maybe it's acceptable for preseason but nothing else. _________________

I'm not a fan of that either. While I understand that they don't want teams to play excessive overtime in the game before a Thursday game, then I think they just need to make sure that the teams involved play at noon on Sunday the week before...or, of course, as they should do, scrap the Thursday games altogether and just have only the kickoff game and Thanksgiving games. _________________

I am surprised to be typing this, but I'd kill overtime, and just have tied during the pre and regular seasons. Less injuries, ties aren't evil.
Absolutely should get rid of the leaper thing.
I agree, you can keep challenging until you are wrong twice, I like that. _________________ Wins are a team stat, not a QB stat |

I honestly wouldn't mind this either. Would really make the playoff chase interesting. Always hate seeing your own team tie tho. This is something that most likely would never happen. _________________
