Damn, I must be getting old. I remember watching him in the preseason of his rookie year. He had a pick and a fumble recovery in that 1 game.

I literally signed him today on franchise mode before he announced his retirement. Oh well, best wishes man, you certainly had a decorated career.

One of the best to every play the 3-4 rush OLB position. Brilliant player who will always be a Cowboy to me. Very happy he got a ring as well even if it wasn't with us. Enjoy retirement, D-Ware.

What I posted in our forum.

True professional on and off the field! I always loved see him his Ware Smash celebration after a sack. His greatest achievement for the Broncos may be the great influence he had on Von Miller followed by that post season run in 2015.

Easily the best player the Cowboys had during the 2000s and possibly the best pick Jerry ever made.

A player that that I always respected even on a rival team. His game spoke for itself, but he's a genuinely good dude too. Hell of a career.
