I am pretty psyched. It won't really hit that Papi is gone until then though Confused

Looks like Price, Thornburg, Smith and Pomeranz will all start the regular season on the DL with arm problems.

Dombrowski really knows how to pick them. Rolling Eyes

I think calling out Dombrowski on Price's arm injury is a bit of a stretch. Everyone wanted the Red Sox to sign him before, they needed an arm after the Lester debacle. And he was a horse before he got here. I guess you could say his IP's worried you? Smith, I'm still doing that trade 10/10. A risky move, with his throwing style, but for Wade Miley? All day.

The others, I agree. Especially sickening considering he had the opportunity to rescind the Pomeranz trade.

I'm still very excited about this team and how fun they're going to be to watch. Benny's swing yesterday was a thing of beauty.

Margot also looks like exactly the kind of player you pawn off for a relief pitcher so far. Good work all around.

Sounds like he's coming next year. Get to know him if you haven't already.

So few foreign "phenoms" have worked out that it's tough to get too excited about him, although I'm sure someone will give him a huge contract.

When a knuckleball doesn't knuckle, you get those results. Happened to Wakefield a couple times (or more) every year.

Just the way it goes for those guys
