So Reiff/Hill on the left side and Remmers/Sirles on the right. Are we feeling better about this position now with established starters and developmental backups with some game experience?

Still some pretty good depth available in the second wave too: http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/offensive-line/available/

If Lang isn't an option, I'd like to pursue Hugh Thornton. He's probably cheap and he's young, injuries are a concern.

If Pazstor is willing to take a cheap one year deal, I'd look at him. Could compete at RT and RG, likely a better version of Sirles.

Full Breakdown:
$58.75M, $11M signing bonus, $26.3M gtd, salaries $6.2M (gtd), $9.1M (gtd), $9.4M, $10.9M, $11.65M

2 year deal. If he preforms well in the first two years I have no problem with the numbers after that.

I like both signings. They aren't very flashing but they are an upgrade over last year's line. I think it gives us the flexibility to draft BPA.

I think a Sirles is currently penciled in as their starting RG.

Or let Easton start at center and move Berger back to guard?

I wouldn't be disappointed if we went BPA. Honestly I will never doubt Spielman. The guy does his absolute best at drafting talent, year in and year out. I expect him to get another steal this year. I'm thinking maybe Joe Mixon or Kareem Hunt at RB with one of our thirds. Or if we can trade back into the end of the 1st and draft a sliding Dalvin Cook, that would be amazing.

IMO Berger's best position is clearly being at center so I don't think you make the best line we can by playing him at guard it was all the injuries that more forced us to play him there and use Easton who can only play center.

The best uses for Berger IMO are starting center or valuable multi interior positional backup.

My thoughts exactly. You never want to pass over superior talent simply because you have a dire need at one or more positions. Price was not outrageous either.

These are great stop-gap players that can fill in for 2-3 years as we (hopefully) build up the line through the next couple of Drafts.

In any of these cases they are in great shape compared to the last half of last season, which cost them a chance at playoff run.

The stopped the bleeding on the O-line, but there is still room for improvement if the right guy falls. I do like that they don't have to draft a day 1 starter if there is not 1 available

Slightly more than Kalil, but only slightly. Reiff's worst year was better than Kalil's best.

We got a huge upgrade on both sides of the line for a reasonable price. It's not top-notch talent, but it's slightly above average talent.

And both tackles are very good in the run-game. Mean guys.

For as useless as he is, TJ Clemmings will likely be the 2nd string RT.

I'm okay with it. An average oline should be enough to get us to the playoffs.

That's not true. Kalil's rookie year was outstanding. That's why the injuries and regressions are so hard to take. He should have been the cornerstone of our line for a decade.
