Anyone else feel like Hayes was kinda disrespected by this? I mean we all knew he wasn't a fit with the new regime but trading him for pennies has got to be a bit of a slap in the face. I think for a guy like him, we owed it to him to just release him and then he'd at least have some options on where he'd want to play. This was a guy who really fought for this team. |

What's a bigger slap in the face? Trading him to a team that wants him and he keeps his high salary that Fisher gave him. Or cutting him so a team that wants him would be able to pay him half what he was making? |

Oh I'm sure at the end of the day, he's content that he gets to play another year under that contract. But I'm sure it had to sting a little hearing he was traded for "a stapler and a coffee machine" |
