He just wasn't able to stay healthy. It's not as if he was bad when he played.

He played 14 games, gave up 5 TDs and a QB rating over 100.

Us internet fanboys wanted a CB and Pace got one. Why are you complaining? Ryan is doing his best!

This is sarcasm, right?

So are you saying that he is a bad signing then?

Yes. When they signed Sims, some numbskull called me an internet fanboy because they needed a TE, Pace signed one yet I still didn't like it. Yeah because with a billion dollars he could have either 1) found a better one that does more than block or 2) if he actually thinks they need a blocking TE, use a 7th round pick on one, not $18M. Point is, Windy criticizing this will only open himself up to criticism since he's being an "internet fanboy" now too.

Unfortunately he probably becomes the best corner on our roster. This position has been neglected for far too long.

Dude, there will be round 1 talent at DB when we pick at #36... this is a good thing.

Get a stud 5T/3T in Solomon Thomas at #3, your corner/safety at #36, and then at #67 you can go WR/TE/CB/S whatever. It opens up well and you get two studs at minimum on D out of the first 2 rounds.

There's lots of DB talent but it's the hardest position to evaluate atleast I think. I've only watched a few of the top 10 DBs so far because my assumption right now is we pick one at 3. I also dont know if Solomon Thomas fits in this defense. He's the kind of player that really doesnt have a position.

This is a pretty solid move given our need and the market...hopefully he becomes another Carlos Rogers in Fangio's D.

We're in sub packages like 70% of the time... I'd keep him strictly at 3T in that unit. But honestly I think you can put another 10 lbs on him and put him at 5T if you wanted. He's got some juice.
