I hate giving compliments because I feel like I'look jinx it, but I have to take my hat off to this defense! These last 2 games they've went without giving up a touchdown.....they've given up 1 in the last 3 games. That's exactly the production I had hoped to see!

That is really, really freaking impressive.

Tell me about it. I'm in the banking industry and I've been putting in 60-70 hours a week between trying to file our 10-K our call report and the millions of auditor requests.

At least tomorrow is my light at the end of the tunnel. Id hate to be a tax guy.

Good game steelcurtain.

This has to be my worst defense ever.

Nacho, not sure if it was missed here. The main post shows Amos as my special teams coach still

Next wave of moves:
Start Melvin Gordon
Bench Gurley
Put Dixon #2

Thank you

Quote:
Q1, 7:55, 3 & 5 on the LV 33: Derek Carr has no time due to Andrew Whitworth missing a block, and gets sacked by Reshad Jones for a loss of 5 yards.
Q1, 7:33, 4 & 10 on the LV 38: Sam Martin's punt landed in the endzone, Touchback.

Critical sack that pushed us literally one yard outside field goal range. SMH.

Quote:
Q1, 6:49, 3 & 11 on the LV 19: Philip Rivers checks the ball down and completes to Golden Tate for 81 yards. Touchdown. Chris Boswell's extra point good.

Q3, 8:45, 1 & 10 on the RJ 40: Philip Rivers passes to the middle of the field and completes to Sammy Watkins for 40 yards. Touchdown. Chris Boswell's extra point good.

Defense is set towards preventing the pass, and they give up two backbreakers like that.

Quote:
Q3, 12:30, 1 & 10 on the RJ 10: DeMarco Murray rushes to the outside for a gain of 6 yards. Fumble on the play, forced by Sam Shields, recovered by DeMarco Murray, who runs for 4 yards. Touchdown. Chris Boswell's extra point good.

I wanna know how the guy fumbles the ball and still gets it back and scores. Like i want a visual of this.

Quote:
Q4, 7:11, 1 & 10 on the RJ 49: Eddie Lacy rushes to the outside for a gain of 6 yards. Tackle made by Danny Trevathan.
Q4, 6:36, 2 & 4 on the LV 45: Derek Carr throws incomplete short. Reshad Jones on the coverage.
Q4, 6:29, 3 & 4 on the LV 45: Derek Carr throws incomplete deep. Janoris Jenkins on the coverage.
Q4, 6:21, 4 & 4 on the LV 45: Sam Martin's punt landed in the endzone, Touchback.

Down by 4, good drive going and sputters out just outside FG range. Frustrating.

Quote:
Q4, 5:01, 1 & 10 on the 50: Philip Rivers passes the ball to the outside and completes to John Brown for 12 yards. Fumble on the play, forced by Sam Shields, recovered by Derrick Morgan. Returned for 17 yards.

Huge defensive play and the second turnover forced. Momentum starting to shift...

Quote:
Q4, 3:55, 2 & 7 on the LV 42: Derek Carr can't find an open receiver and gets sacked by Dante Fowler Jr. for a loss of 4 yards.
Q4, 3:38, 3 & 11 on the LV 46: Jamaal Charles rushes to the outside for a gain of 6 yards. Tackle made by Reshad Jones.
Q4, 3:19, 4 & 5 on the LV 40: Sam Martin's punt landed in the endzone, Touchback.

Okay, now I'm irritated. The sack sucks, but isn't the end of the world.

But for the life of me, I don't under how, a team down by 4, on the opponent's 40 yard line, with 3:19 remaining and 69 offensive aggressiveness, punts the ball away for a net 20 yards. I literally threw my hands up. I've seen offenses with lower aggression at earlier points in games on their own side of the 50 go for it on 4th down, and yet we punt. I'm sorry but I see zero logical reason why this would happen. None.

Quote:
Q4, 1:07, 1 & 10 on the RJ 10: Derek Carr throws incomplete short. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie on the coverage.
Q4, 1:00, 2 & 10 on the RJ 10: Derek Carr throws incomplete deep. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie on the coverage.
Q4, 0:51, 3 & 10 on the RJ 10: Derek Carr throws the ball away.
Q4, 0:42, 4 & 10 on the RJ 10: Derek Carr passes to the middle of the field and completes to Kenny Britt for 6 yards. Tackle made by K.J. Wright.

Was shocked we even got the ball back after that prior punt. But it didnt matter. Glad Carr wasted 9 seconds just to throw the freaking ball away.

Overall I can't blame the offense much, they played turnover free and put up 37. Defense just gave up too many chunks of yardage, but man, that punt on 4th and 5 on the opponent's 40 with 3:19 down by 4... yeah, that's frustrating. Especially when the ground game averaged 5 yards and passing game averaged 6.

Tough loss.

GG Tk3

Sproles is working out just like I hoped. Big time receiving threat. Big Ben is an absolute monster.

Also, what nerf?

Everyone usually has one guy we cry about being Nerfed by the sim engine. Well mines showing early

Yanda (4 games)
2 pancakes
2 sacks
9 TFL

S12 (16 games)
21 pancakes
6 sacks
10 TFL

S11

Somehow nacho, Yanda is getting hit with the TFL even when it's OLB/DE that's being credited.
