is it just me

or does anyone else think that its kind shady that nfl.com cannot simulcam CJ2K and Ross's 40s?

especially after they pretend simulcamed it with that little yellow line where it basically showed that CJ won

i have no issue with the record being broken but i just think the way it played out is a little odd

They said they can't simulcast it because CJ ran it at a different stadium with different camera angles

The recording system was different back then. For instance, when Cj ran, you physically broke a line at 40 yards. Now everything is lasers and more advanced technology. The camera angles being different does play into the lack of being able to simulcast, but I'd be willing to bet that in the coming days or weeks that the NFL or ESPN will find a way to "accurately" project or superimpose the two runs.

The yellow line beats him every time. They overplay Ross and drive archer and they are the same. Archer ran a 4.26.

Inexact science oh well.

Ever since the Deanthony Thomas 40 I take these numbers with a significant grain of salt.

He ran a 4.26. And not just because that's what I timed him at. The simulcast with Dri Archer's 4.26 was identical.

I clicked at the link in your sig and a lot of your player comps for the 2016 draft were awful...

Same thing happened with Cooper, White, and Parker 2 years ago. One thing that raises a red flag for me about the yellow line, it might be because of the camera angles, is that it accelerates faster than humanly possible in the last 5-10 yards. The speed appears to double. You have to watch it in slow motion to see it clearly.

pretty amazing to me that a multi billion dollar company still has trouble recording 40 times in this day and age
