Trust the process

Seriously though he's not very good. Room to get better but he should absolutely not be starting at LT.

This is Mac way to build a team, by giving Ijalana 11 MILLION bucks. This has to be a joke.

11 million isn't even a lot across an entire contract. Calm down.

We traded for Ryan Clady and then desperately tried to trade up for Laremy Tunsil. If the Jets want one of the LT prospects, Ijalana isnt going to stop them from taking him.

Which again would bold the question, if the Jets are set on selecting a LT in the draft why waste the money? At the end of the day it's only five million for a one year deal essentially, I just don't think anyone should be excited by the resigning of Ijalana is all I'm saying. I'm not bashing the move, just really don't understand the point of it. He doesn't hold any upside nor does he really pass as a starter so it's whatever.

Adams/Hooker or trade down from six.

The draft comes after FA, there is no reason to force our hand at LT. I love the signing, we won't be tied to him long term and considering what others are being paid I'm cool with paying one of our own modest money. I think we'll select a LT in the top 3 rounds but at least now we aren't pressured to reach on one.

$30M in cap, I can live with $5M to an OT. Some posters on here just want to go on a baby punching rampage regardless of what we do. If we signed Bouye for $67.5M we'd be ripping the Jets apart for paying a one year standout.
