Who would you rather see at LT next season or someone else and why
Personally I'd like to see Reiff because it's not Flowers and he's younger the withworth

Wasn't Reiff moved to RT because he wasn't a good LT?

I was going to say the same thing. Whitworth would give us 2-3 good years, which is probably about what Eli has left (with the Giants at least). Give Eli a great LT for the rest of his career so he can maximize his abilities and try to find the heir apparent (for both positions) during the time frame.

Yeah, but why would you draft a replacement if you had confidence in the incumbent?

On top of that, the lions are letting him go and chase a second contract in his supposed prime

Now, i think highly of Reiff as a RT and think the Lions are making a mistake though, but he isn't what I would want for this team.

From what I remember Reiff was placed at RT because the lions knew they would not be able to afford him when his contract was up so they drafted a new LT.

If that was the case, why didn't franchise him instead of letting him test the market.

If they valued him enough to swap him to RT. Franchise him at the RT levels and pay him around 7 mill a year instead of what the 12-14 mill average, and then move him to LT later. if this was some sort of contract trickery, thats what I would have done.

Decker is doing well from everything I have read, and Reiff is considered to be an average LT. Now, i will take an average LT over what we got in Flowers but not at elite LT money. Know what I mean?

Neither. If we sign someone on the OL, it will be Okung.

IDK why Beachem isn't getting looked at. He had a down year last year but he still did better than Flowers and that's coming of a torn ACL. He will be better this year and will be cheaper than Okung, Reiff, Whitworth.
