Just saw what TE David Njoku measured in at and oh my! 82 and a half inch wing span at 6 foot 4 and 246 pounds. Will be interesting to see how his draft process goes. He could easily pass OJ Howard.

I don't want a corner in the first, especially if Haason Reddick or Zach Cunningham are available. But it would be interesting if we draft a CB in the 1st such as Marlon Humphrey and go with a CBBC approach. Our corners all seem to do good against certain styles. Sean Smith is a lockdown corner on possession WR's who are tier two or below. He struggles with speedy guys and elite guys. Amerson struggles with good route runners from what I have seen.

A guy like Humphrey could play nickel but also start when those two have a bad stylistic matchup.

We could also do the same thing with a CB in the second round though. Just an example.

Last night when I re-watched the Saints game I was wondering why we had Hayden on Tomas and Smith on Cooks. Are Smith and Amerson locked into only playing one side of the field? I would think Hayden on Cooks, Smith on Tomas, and Amerson on Snead. Even after pulling Smith I would have had Carrie or Amerson covering Tomas.

I just don't see it I'm happy Cowser got a sack but Taylor ran right into him. Irvin is no spring chicken if a pass rusher is BPA it should be a no brainer

Irvin isn't even 30 and had a very good season overall. He's under contract for 3 more years. Obviously, Mack is one of the best edge rushers in the league. They combined for 18 sacks which is pretty good coming from your 2 edge guys. The problem is we basically didn't get anything from the rest of our D. If we want to improve our pass rush, we need to get pressure from the inside. There's hope MEJ will provide some of that. Maybe Ward will start contributing there as well. And hopefully, we add another piece to that mix in FA or the draft. But i don't think another edge rusher will make much of a difference for now. So i wouldn't say it's a no brainer.

Still some are denagrading Campbell for being 30 no ? Maybe no brainer was a bit excessive I just really like Charles Harris and Takk McKinley my boy was coach on his JUCO team

This game should definitely bring some lulz from the Raiders side.
