I like using first-pick a lot, it's really fun. I just kind of have a house rule that if I'm using it for mock purposes and not just to see what I can do, I never make any trades. They just never seem realistic in terms of predicting what will actually happen.

That being said, I like a lot of the players that you chose. I'm leaning toward the Lions not drafting a RB this year. I feel like there are going to be so many good RB's in this class that they could grab a couple of UDFA to compete with and perhaps overtake Zenner.

I'm tired of not having a great RB that makes his O-line better, TBH. We've gone at least five years without having an above-replacement-level runner that defences would have to truly respect (Best). Even longer than that if you want a bruiser big power back. I desperately want the Lions to finally address the major hole of franchise runner this year. We should be among the first out of the gate to pick a RB IMO. Even if it takes a second rounder, I wouldn't hesitate if it meant we got a Henry or a Howard level RB this year. Who those RBs are in this class, IDK, but we have to get one. Who knows? Maybe even Fournette with our first I wouldn't even be opposed.

Fournette is exactly what the Lions need. Problem being is he's got a shot to be a top 5 pick, more likely than not though he'll be a top 10 selection.

Don't love this draft because of the 1st round CB. I know in my offseason I signed a guy but it was to upgrade over Lawson/Diggs not bring in competition.

Idk, honestly I don't like a lot of these players. Jackson, Qualls, Chubb, Biegel and Price. Don't know who Etta-tawo is... Tough for me to like this. Just not a fan of these players.

Round 1 Pick 31 (N.E.): Christian McCaffrey, RB, Stanford (A)
Round 2 Pick 27: Jourdan Lewis, CB, Michigan (A)
Round 2 Pick 31 (N.E.): Dede Westbrook, WR, Oklahoma (A+)
Round 3 Pick 27: Micah Kiser, ILB, Virginia (A)
Round 4 Pick 27: Derrick Nnadi, DT, Florida State (A)
Round 5 Pick 27: Ryan Glasgow, DT, Michigan (A+)
Round 6 Pick 27: Da'Shawn Hand, DE, Alabama (B-)
Round 6 Pick 30: Donnel Pumphrey, RB, San Diego State (A+)

I'm not completely ready to give up on Abdullah since he looked great when he played, just needs to stay healthy. However I sort of like this draft, even though it has too many UM players. If you don't like trades, remove Westbrook from the draft and its still solid IMO. Pumphrey is a value pick, but I like the potential.

If you're looking for a brusier it seems like there are quite a few in this draft. There are a lot of big, 220 lb.+ backs coming out (Royce Freeman, Samaje Perine, D'Onta Foreman, Nick Chubb, Elijah Hood, Corey Clement, James Conner, Kareem Hunt, De'Veon Smith, etc.). Maybe one of those guys fall to a later pick and we get one there.

Without any trades:

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 22: Sidney Jones, CB, Washington (A-)
Round 2 Pick 22: Solomon Thomas, DE, Stanford (A)
Round 3 Pick 22: Jourdan Lewis, CB, Michigan (A+)
Round 4 Pick 22: Vince Biegel, OLB, Wisconsin (A-)
Round 5 Pick 22: Derrick Nnadi, DT, Florida State (A+)
Round 6 Pick 22: James Conner, RB, Pittsburgh (A+)
Round 6 Pick 31: Antonio Garcia, OT, Troy (C)

I'd be fairly pleased with this draft. Probably closer to ecstatic. I view Antonio Garcia as a 4th round T, so I don't know why I got a C for taking him in the 6th.

If the draft went like this I would not be disappointed. If we could land Walker in the second along with Lewis and then somehow hit on Foreman in the 3rd and Roberst could be a sleeper in this draft although I don't know how with all the TD's he puts up. Good draft.

Is Jourdan Lewis really a 2nd-3rd round guy? He's a significantly better cover corner than Adoree imo.
