Hi guys,

I'm going to be compiling a list of the top 20 players in the NFL who appear poised for superstardom and I'm soliciting opinions from every fanbase to nominate a player from their team.

Please discuss the possible players to nominate here. Make a poll if you must.

I'll also need one or two of you to provide quotes explaining why you think this player is a future star in the league, and possibly some videos or gifs of highlights, if available.

A couple of rules for inclusion, however:

1. The player must be on his rookie contract.
2. The player must not have been selected to any Pro Bowls or received any other league awards.

Thanks for your help!

With Mack, Carr, and Cooper being excluded, the only two that make sense to me would be Mario Edwards Jr if he stays healthy and Jalen Richard if he's given the bulk of the carries.

Mario Edwards has flashed a lot of ability but has been limited by injuries. A lot of us around here think a healthy Edwards will be a very effective piece of our defense.

Karl Joseph had some good moments and some bad ones, but since we are limited to players on their rookie deals I'll go with or most recent 1st round pick. He has tons of ability and upside, and assuming our league-worst pass rush improves with Edwards and Aldon Smith back, I think we'll see more big things out of Joseph.

My pick is Jalen Richard he has all the makings of a Maurice Jones Drew type RB, with a offseason to get a little stronger maybe add 5 to 10 pounds, I predict he will be our #1 RB going forward.

I think Edwards has shown the most, aside from a couple injuries, which are hopefully flukes. I like Joseph and Richard too. What about Gabe Jackson? I think he is at least worthy of discussion.

Karl Joseph. Hands down. He will be one of the best tackling safeties in the league at some point.

Gabe Jackson should also be on the list.

"Superstar"? I don't think anyone other than our big 3 has a realistic shot at being a superstar.

Edwards jr flashed his rookie year, he's still so much of an unknown that he has a shot.

Perhaps Karl Joseph.

But both of these guys are just going off of rookie year flashes and a super big "?" for future outlook. I don't think we have any under the radar players that have shown enough to me that I'd say "wow that guy has a good shot at being one of the best in the league" at this point.

+1 for Gabe Jackson. Can't believe I overlooked him.

I'd say our best players on rookie deals will be:

Mario Edwards
Gabe Jackson
Karl Joseph
Jalen Richard

Probably in that order.

Jackson imo didnt progress much if at all this year but we shall see. He was playing in different spot and RT was a turn style of bodies. But he should definatley be an option.

Here is my order. Edwards or Joseph imo you cant go wrong with.

Mario Edwards
Karl Joseph
Gabe Jackson
Connor Cook
Jalen Richard

how many legit Superstars are there in the league? I think Mack and Carr are there, and Cooper will get there.

Guys getting mentioned, Edwards, Jackson, Joseph, Richard etc, I see Pro Bowl type talents but not SuperStar, super stars are elite top 3 at their position players.
