Current TEs:

TE Ebron
TE Wick

Current FA:

M. Bennett
J. Cook
T. Burton (RFA)
J. Doyle
L. Wilson
J. Cameron
R. Griffin
D. Sims
J. Gresham
L. Paulsen

Prospects:

Howard-Alabama
Njoku-Miami
Everett-South Alabama
Engram-Ole Miss
Leggett-Clemson
Hodges-VT
Butt-Michigan
Smith FIU
Roberts-TOL
Sprinkle-Arkansas

How do you want the Lions to proceed with their TE situation?

Is it a priority? Do you think the Lions are set with Ebron? Do you want to invest in a high draft pick? Do you want to sign a solid blocking TE and give Ebron another year?

I think that Ebron is a good starter. What we need is someone that can compliment Ebron and mask some of his weaknesses. A blocking TE shouldn't be too hard to find. Add a veteran via free agency to fill that role OR use a mid/late pick on one - it's a really deep draft class at the position.

Do you have any thoughts on Dion Sims? I think he would be a perfect fit.

I don't know much about him, but he could be a good fit I think. We don't need a monster TE, we just need someone that can block and catch a few balls.

George Kittle from Iowa, is my pick (yes, I'm a Hawkeye fan).

My vote is for a TE later in the draft. A 4th rounder TE would be the highest round I would like to see one selected (Howard would be hard to pass at 21 but I'd rather go with a defensive guy in the 1st).

There's a good amount of depth in the draft and FA TEs don't intrigue me. I'd draft a TE later to be a reliable #2 behind Ebron. Kittle is a good blocker who can make a catch but isn't a burner like Ebron could be. He fits the "will go later in the draft" checkbox, has decent hands and is a solid run blocker.

I'm not sure where Ashland TE, Adam Shaheen will go but he's very intriguing. Shaheed reminds me of Travis Kelce, I wouldn't mind selecting him in this year's draft either.
