You are probably right. Best I just lay low until after the combine and wait for the start of FA.

I'm actually interested in how both of those guys will test. I'm a bit skeptical of Thomas testing as well as people are expecting.

Me too... he's listed at 280.. People are expecting 4.5 at the combine. I just don't see how. And Kupp may fall. He is an older prospect who may not time well. He's also a white boy WR from a small school. Don't know that he falls to us but I could see him being a 3rd round pick in the end. Much like Jordan Shipley from Texas ended up being.

Re the draft. I won't be surprised if our pick at 28 is in play if an impact DE is available for trade. Not saying that I advocate this, but the team is close and our inability to consistently rush the passer is our achilles heel. The window to capitalize on a championship for all teams not named the Patriots is small.

Also with Jaylon Smith getting healthier and ready to play in 2017 that's like adding another first rounder. I won't be surprised if we discuss trading our pick to land an impact DE. Who that player is I don't know but I think it will be given serious consideration.

Okay I have revised my wish list for FA.

Wish list

Restructure a few players (Dez, Travis F) to free up cash for the below players.

Sign Eric Berry 3yr 26 Million
Resign Terrell Mcclain
Resign Carr 2yr 10mill
Keep Romo (If he takes a pay cut)

Draft DE at 28
Draft Speed Receiver at 60 (need more speed at WR position)
Draft DE at 92
Draft CB at 132
Draft TE at 211
Draft RT at 230
Draft OLB at 248

I will update this after the combine.

Can Berry be had at 26 million?

Your philosophy is the same as mine. Need to see names eventually

Here are salaries of other safeties. http://overthecap.com/position/safety/

I think its a possibility we can get him for 8.6 mill per year. Wouldn't be opposed to offering him 9 per.

I almost want T. Jefferson over berry at S, he's younger and I feel could be had for cheaper.
