I know Cooks is unhappy in New Orleans, if he's traded Cruz would work well in our system.

That could definitely work out for both parties. I'd be very happy to see Cruz go to NO.

Could we just stick to the topic at hand? I'm interested to see what team Cruz lands on. I was reading a post in here where a Giants fan (I believe?) was saying he would make a really good slot WR. I know the Rams are looking for a WR, but more in the mold of a #1 guy. Cruz is a vet and our offense is extremely young, so he could be a great guy to have around anyway. Might be able to help Tavon out as well.

Hard to ignore somebody enjoying an injury that took 2 years of a guys career Because he like to honor his heritage and deceased grandma

This game should definitely bring some lulz from the Raiders side.

Dude it seems like the Giants have had this issue going back now. Whose next Odell?

Steve Smith.. Then it was someone else.. Can't remember.

Mario Manningham and/or Hakeem Nicks?

Yeah.. Nicks was the dude i was thinking about. He was pretty beastly coming up. Then just went MIA for no reason. I still remember that hail mary he caught against GB in GB. Laughing Cool Razz

It wasn't for no reason, he had a number of leg injuries that robbed him of his explosiveness.

Only guy I was happy to see have a devastating injury

Mostly due to that Dooshey Salsa Dancing

Yea, how dare he honor his grandmother!

Still Dooshey, and looked stupid

Yeah how dare he celebrate a traditional partner dance that was several centuries of history in the making and takes years to learn how to do properly.

Instead lets only allow nonsensical hand/ leg/ [inappropriate/removed] movements that any child or drunk can do - like the twerk or the naynay thing or the dab etc.

TBF, the side conversation was less annoying than the rest of the responses, where everyone just mentions their favourite team and favourite players while pretending to talk about Cruz.

I don't think he has much left in the tank, for those pondering if he'll fit on your team. He's not just a cap casualty. He looked like a shell of his former self this past season. If the Giants had a decent #2 receiver, Cruz would have been on the bench. In fact, the Giants did try to trot out a couple UDFA receivers but that didn't work out either. The electrifying 99 yard TD Victor Cruz is sadly long gone.

I feel like one could easily forget that the Giants cut Victor Cruz simply by reading this thread.

what a joke.

my guess is he'll be picked up as a cheap slot and put together a couple more decent seasons, and then he'll fade into obscurity. don't see anyone paying him big money or expecting him to be a #1 or #2.

Raiders can kick the tires. Good slot to push Roberts.

Seeing Cruz in this offense if he can somehow regain his rookie season form?

Damn, I'm getting wet just thinking about it.

But yeah, the comments in this thread are just disgusting.

Actually agree. I would want nothing to do with him tbh. People suggested him for the Eagles and I see him as Miles Austin all over again.
