Well it's the offseason so it's time for some mocks! Let me preface this by saying this is what I would do, not necessarily what I think the Giants will do. I didn't really go into explanations on this one but if you have a question or would like to get a comment from me just reply to this and I'd be happy to explain my reasoning. Big thanks to OverTheCap for helping me with cap space calculations. I used Matt Miller's (Bleacher Report) latest 7 round mock draft released a few days ago to get an idea of where players will be drafted. Without further ado...

Release:
RB Rashad Jennings (savings of $2.5M)
WR Victor Cruz (savings of $7.5M)
LB J.T. Thomas III (savings of $3M)

Restructure:
RB Shane Vereen (from $4.9M to $3.15M; savings of $1.75M)

Re-Sign:
    QB Josh Johnson (1/$900K)
    TE Will Tye (ERFA; 1/$615K)
    OT Marshall Newhouse (1/$1.45M; $200K SB + $1.25M)
    OG John Jerry (2/$4.5M; $800K SB + $1.2M, $2.5M)
    OG Justin Pugh (5/$41M; $12.5M SB + $1.95M, $5.35M, $6.45M, $7.3M, $7.45M)
    DE Jason Pierre-Paul (5/$75M; $16M SB + $6.75M, $11.8M, $12.25M, $13.4M, $14.8M)
DT Robert Thomas (RFA; 1/$1.671M original round tender)
    LB Keenan Robinson (4/$17M; $3.2M SB + $1.75M, $3.6M, $3.9M, $4.55M)
    CB Coty Sensabaugh (1/$1M; $225K SB + $775K)
    CB Trevin Wade (1/$775K)
    LS Zak DeOssie (1/$1.15M; $150K SB + $1M)

Cap space going into free agency: $25.05M

Trade:
NYG trades 2017 2nd round pick and 2018 conditional pick for:
    WR Josh Gordon (1/$1.07M)
    LT Joe Thomas (2/$20M)

NOTE: Conditions for 2018 pick are as follows:
    If Gordon plays 0-6 games = 7th
    If Gordon plays 7-12 games = 6th
    If Gordon plays 13+ games = 5th
If Gordon plays 13+ games and goes over 1,000 yards = 4th

Free Agency:
    RB Christine Michael (3/$6.85M; $750K SB + $1.25M, $2.35M, $2.5M)
    DT Sylvester Williams (1/$1M)
    LB Bruce Carter (1/$900K)
    CB Leon Hall (1/$1M)

Cap space after free agency: $12.75M

NFL Draft:

Final Roster:
QB (2): Eli Manning, Josh Johnson
RB (4): Paul Perkins, Christine Michael, Shane Vereen, Marlon Mack
WR (6): Odell Beckham, Josh Gordon, Sterling Shepard, Dwayne Harris, ArDarius Stewart, Roger Lewis
TE (4): OJ Howard, Will Tye, Will Johnson, Jerell Adams
OL (9): Joe Thomas, Justin Pugh, Weston Richburg, John Jerry, Ereck Flowers, Bobby Hart, Taylor Moton, Marshall Newhouse, Brett Jones

Why would you poison ODB with Gordon. Seems like a recipe for disaster.

OBJ isnt a drug addict, nor will he become one. He cares about winning too much

He has also shown that he can be immature. We need a veteran to help him with that, not a drug addict.

he is about to go on his 2nd nfl contract and probably his biggest. He needs to grow up on his own, cant baby him. Id risk a young talent like gordon for that trade. If he pans out its robbery, if he doesnt big deal we lose a 7th round pick.

love the christine michael. He is really talented. Idk why no one likes him

I like it for the most part, but our running back corp is once again bottom 5 in the league. I'd love to get AP or someone in the 2nd or 3rd round.

We don't need to go for a RB on day 1. We can't afford to do it and it's not a great need. OJ Howard is going get picked earlier, his stock seems to be rising.

Takkarist McKinley would be a good pick for us.

I don't want Gordon, I think getting a player like Kenny Britt might be better for us. I also don't believe O.J. Howard will be there with the 23rd pick, a lot of teams like him and think he will be a much better pro than college player.

I might be the rare one on here that doesn't think we should resign JPP, he's going to want OV money which is 17 mil a season...there's no way we can justify 17 mil to OV, 17 mil to JPP and 9 mil to Snacks just for defensive line. For that kind of money they better be the best DL in the game by a large margin and they won't. I think this defense will be just fine if we use that money on Nick Fairley to replace Hankins and let RO start and we can draft a rookie DE like Taco would work.

I like the Pugh, Newhouse, Johnson, Robinson, Wade, Sensabaugh, Thomas, DeOssie re-signs.
