does Peyton Manning even want to be the eventual GM, when he's seen as "fit" for the job?

also, is Irsay just keeping Pagano because he feels bad about his prior health issues? I honestly can't see any other reason to keep him.

Irsay should steal Shanahan from San Francisco.

That's the team McDaniels should really want. He gets to build a team, except he already has a young good QB.

Seems to be a generally disliked fella in the football world. Good move by the Colts and hopefully they bring in the right guy.

I count five. I may be stretching it a bit though.

GM Candidates are pretty good.

Scott Fitterer- co-director of player personnel for the Seahawks.

George Paton- Assistant general manager of the Vikings.

Eliot Wolf- director of football operations for the Packers

Chris Ballard- director of football operations for the Chiefs,

Eric DeCosta- The assistant general manager for the Ravens,

Ballard is the guy I would go hard after if I was Irsay. He's a great talent evaluator and works under a good GM in Dorsey. He's due for a job.

DeCosta is the only other guy from that list that would interest me, but he has turned down multiple GM interviews over the past few years so I doubt he suddenly accepts one now.
